Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Marlin

I keep trying to give this place second chances but I can’t anymore. Half the time I order from here my food is wrong. But I don’t ever call to complain or get it fixed cause I’m not that type of person. I always use the mobile app so there should be no issues with communication. Tonight I placed an order at 8:54 pm and pick up time was 9:00pm. I checked into the mobile stall probably 9:10 because I’ve never had the orders ready by their estimated pickup time and that’s okay. I know how crazy fast food gets. I waited till 9:30 before I went through the drive through. I would understand if it was busy but it wasn’t at all. We pull up close enough to the window to see our bag just sitting there before the carhop grabbed it to give it to us. Another employee was leaned over the table on her phone. Of course my food was barely warm. I typically don’t complain cause I’ve worked fast food and know how it can be. It took 5 minutes to even say a word to me at the speaker then at the window I waited forever for my food which was cold and soggy crispy chicken and fries were mush by the time i drove a mile to my residence. Are you serving old Food? Why the 15 minute wait on my Snickers blast? Then I find the bottom of my fries stuffed with tater tots I didn't order that I ordered a large frie. I'm calling corporate, a girl was crying in the kitchen touching her face and it looked as if everyone's first day at work. What kind of training goes on here??? These kids don't know what they are doing and if they do, they need to be wrote up. If they haven't been trained properly then management needs to step it up! I'm coming back in a few weeks and if this place hasn't shaped up I'll call corporate again. I'm not really a big fan of Sonic's food I think it's unhealthy I do like their drinks and their shakes are awesome but one thing I want to point out is I love the app feature of half-price drinks all the time and get happy hour non-stop and like everyday they go ahead and throw any some kind of little you know bonus at you like dollar hot dogs all day or all week or something like that That's a really neat feature and it's very convenient to be able to order food through the app and just you know come up to the stall or through the drive-thru window the food ready to go you just don't have a lot of waiting I mean you know what time is scarces it is you know from day-to-day and everything's going so fast paced it's really nice to be able to stop in and grab the kids a corn dog and just move on with my day without a 30 or 45 minute ordeal...
