When questioned about a couple items on their freshness, the employees seem to take quite the offense to the question. first, there was the tuna which only had maybe one serving left in its container and looked as it as turning a darker shade of brown. When asked if the tuna was good, a simple look in the pan and stating "it's ok" was not sufficient for us. i was hoping that they either stir the product or marry into another fresh container of tuna. Maybe a thermometer could of been checked but was not. so we changed our choice to more fresh product of cold cuts and was told that if we didn't like the tuna we didn't have to eat it. That's for sure that's why we changed our menu choice. then when i seen they serve my favorite cheese, swiss, i choice swiss, until we seen that the cheese was also questionable about its freshness with its discoloration and shriveled up sides we choice once again to change our decision to another. at that time it was told to us that if we don't want to eat there then we sure don't have to. Once again, i tried to explain that we are here to eat Subway but not the questionable products they tried to serve to us. there was one employee there working which was obvious by her uniform and another person there in street clothing and was the one discrediting our visit to their store. it was decided by the employee that we would not be served that day and decided to throw the product in the waste rather then to serve us and we was asked to leave. Probably for the best for once seeing probably the most sensitive product they serve turn colors without any concern and cheese that curly up in itself, they probably did us a favor. Unfortunately for the owner of this store, i would be very embarrassed to have either one of these employees represent my business. The care and concern of the product and the consumer they are selling it to should have better standards and concerns rather then to "toe off" with a customer about obvious situation that could of easily been remedied by them doing their job to the best of their ability. Maybe this was their best. It is very difficult to find good quality help these days, but hiring someone just to fill a position is very risky for business ownership.
