This Mexican restaurant is not a very classy place. I believe it use to be a old Hardee's restaurant a long time ago. Trust me you can still tell. I'm not downing the restaurant, because of the lackadaisical remodeling into a Mexican restaurant. Everyone deserves a far chance of success. Regardless of their budget for remodeling or lack there of. It is to me an average Mom and Pop style restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food. As for average, the food was also average. It was not bad, but it was not spectacular either. There was a consistent chemical taste amongst the three dishes that I could not determine what it could had been. Read moreI can say that this is easily the best Mexican restaurant in the Charleston area with amazing staff it seems. The owner(?) at the front desk had a good conversation with me about the amazing flavors of the jarritos drinks and recommended some good ones. I had the steak chimichanga and it had good quality meat it was like 9 dollars for 2 burritos, beans, rice, and a salad. The cheese dip at most restaurants are always watered down to save money but this cheese was thick and delicious. Wonderful service aswell the waiter was very attentive but not intrusive. Without any bias I'll say Cheap. Good. Family owned. What's your...
