Normally, I’m Team Pizza all the way—with extra cheese and zero regrets—but today? The sun said “nah, Joe,” and my appetite tapped out like a soggy slice in a sauna. ☀️🥵 So I did what any rational, overheated adult would do: I pivoted to a crispy chicken salad. Yes, a SALAD… at a pizza joint. And guess what? No regrets. None. Zip. 😎

🐔 The chicken was golden and crispy like it had just finished a TED Talk on confidence. Not too greasy, not too dry—just pure cluckin’ perfection. 🥬 The salad? Fresh enough to make you question your fridge at home. Lettuce that actually crunched. Tomatoes that didn’t look tired. A dressing that didn’t judge you. 💅 🍺 And that Yuengling? It hit like a summer breeze with a purpose. Ice-cold, refreshing, and just enough to make me feel like I’d made a mature dining decision (even though I still stared longingly at someone else’s meat lover’s pie). 🥲

💁‍♂️ My server deserves a standing ovation and maybe a chill towel—she was clearly fresh off a lunch rush battle but still managed the charm, refills, and sports banter like a pro. 📺 TVs everywhere, playing sports like your uncle’s basement but cleaner and with way fewer beanbag chairs.

Final Thoughts: If you come to Crawford’s and skip the pizza for the salad, you won’t get judged. In fact, the salad might just earn your respect… and your hydration back....

I will start with saying that I think this is the best Pizza in the Decatur area. The staff was really friendly and it has a lot of TVs for watching sports. We were there to eat and watch football. The only reason I don't give them a five is because of the bar offerings. My friend ordered a gin and tonic and they could not make it because they were either out of Gin or tonic. Either way that is a problem for a bar on football Sunday. Then we ordered Moscow Mules from their cocktail menu and we got a canned premixed Moscow mule served in a pint glass. They definitely need to be more clear on this on their menu when charging 7$ for that drink. I don't want you to think it tasted bad because it didn't, but when someone orders a Moscow mule off of a cocktail menu this is definitely not what they are expecting. This will absolutely not deter me from going back there, but it was something...

Our delivery driver tonight completely ruined all future business from my entire family and I. The reason he was so upset and completely unprofessional was all because the order did not come through listed as an apartment and he knocked on the wrong door… he was extremely rude to my neighbor and then refused to come into the walkway door (not an entry door just a hallway that leads to multiple apartment doors). He stated he will never come back because we failed to enter the address correctly and proceeded to scream and was beyond rude in front of multiple children. When we got our food I was too sick to my stomach to even eat because none of us deserved how he treated. I tipped 20% prior to him even getting here so his attitude was unrelated to not being tipped well…. I’m sad that his clearly terrible night ruined a family pizza night in we were...
