Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Marshalltown

Today I placed a large order (over $200) for a group of 17 people and left a $56 tip. I call the JJ branch at 11:00 AM prior to my selected delivery time of 11:30-11:45 to confirm the order and request 16 empty bags so I could sort the food once it arrived (because I knew the food would arrive stuffed into boxes). I was assured that the delivery time was secured and that they would include the bags so I could sort the food. the JJ app said my order went out for delivery at 11:39 but didn't arrive until 11:58. Not only did the order arrive late but we were missing multiple items. I tried calling JJ only to be put on hold 3 times without being given the chance to speak. The 4th attempt I told the employee that we were missing food and she seemed to care less. I asked that they deliver the missing items and she said it would be a while because they were working on other orders. Frustrating experience to...

I drive thru here a couple of times a month. Usually when I'm coming home late from work and just want to get home and eat something fast. I've been coming here since they opened and I've always gotten exactly what I expected to get. Lately I've been using the App and ordering when I walk out of work and then drive thru and pick up the sub. I will say that they were probably the fastest "to go food place" before I started using the App. I think Sub City has better tasting subs but JJ's is more convenient especially since they're located on the side of town I live on. Ordered sandwiches for delivery. Driver placed drink cup directly in front of door. If my husband hadn't gotten to the door before the driver walked away, he would have knocked the drink over opening the door. They sent the wrong sandwich and when I called thr store, I had to call four times before someone even answered the phone and then got put on a 5 minute hold before speaking to the manager.
