THE GOOD AND BAD: I've seen this place in passing on my way to and from the trailer court. Doesn't look like much from afar.. wasn't until it was recommended to us by a stranger that I decided to give it a try. Walking in I immediately noticed how clean it was. Seemed newly updated. There was no sign to wait to be seated or otherwise. So we sat in the only available spot. The booths weren't very comfortable. I liked how they served breakfast and dinner all day. Was pleased they had my favourite soda. Mug root beer. I came here wanting a juicy burger and wasn't disappointed! I got the double beacon cheese burger with the waffle fries. Wasn't informed that fires were extra $$. The fries and burger were delicious! I gave it 4 stars because though my food was delicious the ketchup tasted bad and my boyfriends food wasn't. He got the roast beef special. Mashed potatoes were instant and the roast beef seemed like it was a frozen dinner they thawed and served. We weren't impressed especially since they boast that it's a restaurant that specializes in making their dishes homemade. But the coffee was good and the waitress was super nice and attentive. So 4 it got. I'll definitely be back.

5 Stars means my expectations were exceeded. Onions cooked in with the hash browns such that they still had a moist crunch. I asked for and received my eggs poached soft - which is really hard to when the restaurant is busy and the short order cook is firing on all cylinders. The steak was well trimmed and cooked to medium (light pink in the center). Just as ordered. All this topped with the friendly service make this a perfect dinner.

I remember O J's. Mom used 2 work there when I was 6 and 7 years old, when I was little my first time there was with my 2nd sitters Pa Pa Riley and Betty. 1 day in 90 I helped Mom in the kitchen. I remember going there with Dad 2 when Mom worked there. I remember Mom was standing behind the table and said "Hi Hun, R U being good 4 Dad"? Then in May 92 we had a good-bye party 4 Mom there because she was going 2 spend the Summer with me that year. Sometimes in the mid 90s Dad and I went there and I remember sometimes I would have Beef and Noodles. I remember on August 23, 93 Mom, Dad and I went there 4 Breakfast after we left the court house 4 my adoption. In 2006 and 2007 Mom and went there after Church 4 Lunch. I remember I had a grilled chicken breast without the bun, mashed potatoes plain and a vegie sometimes is corn, mixed vegies, beets, tomatoes. Sometimes I would have Swiss Steak. When Mom worked there she had 2 open up every Monday. Jerry used 2 be the manager there when Mom...

We have been going to this restaurant for YEARS. Some of the staff has changed, but for the most part they are still all really nice. Tonight was the first time that we have been back to OJ's in a couple of years. The reason for that is that they have REALLY raised their prices on everything. Their food is great and there usually isn't a long wait time to receive it (except for maybe on Sunday's with the church crowds). The reason for only 4 stars is their bigger increase in prices and they could do better at paying attention to refilling drinks. The price you pay for a drink is only worth it if you get more than one glass and after 30 minutes of it sitting on the edge of the table and no one coming by, we gave up...
