Over-fryed and dense. Probably the worst donut shop donuts I have had. I don't understand how this place has such a high rating. We love donuts and frequent donut shops when we travel. We bought a dozen to sample all the varieties. I only liked one. In general, they were overcooked, dry, and dense. Maybe this is how they make donuts in the Northeast, but I am used to a lighter, better tasting donut. The coating of the crunch donut was very good. Most of the others were dry because they had been cooked too long, the marble especially. Disappointing. The shop itself is very cute and the worker was nice also. We visited in a Thursday morning about 7:30 am. We stopped earlier this week at 9:15 and they were sold out for the day. Another positive is that they were reasonably priced. However, that doesn't mean a lot of the donuts aren't good. They only take cash, which is inconvenient. I don't write very many two star reviews and I am hesitant to give a small business a poor rating, but consumers are expecting an honest assessment when referring to reviews when making a decision. Unfortunately, I would skip this place.

Who puts clove in a jelly donut ? If I wanted some 1500’s old school recipe from the pilgrims, I would order the artisan donuts that you do not have listed on your menu. Seriously, your apple filled and jelly stick both saturated with clove and the old fashion donut was fried in the same oil or at some time because they tasted like...

I love this place, if you want to go somewhere but you don't know what to do, then stop by and have a coffee or donut! Also, the bacon egg and cheese is so good, my opinion. I don't get all the hate comments because I don't think the donuts are stale, and the service was so...
