Sheila's Place Fresh from our Kitchen to your's — Restaurant in Marshfield

I have been going to Shiela's Place since they were in Fair Grove. Every location has been wonderful which is nice because for whatever reason that can affect the food. In almost twenty years I have only had one bad meal so that is certainly the exception. I have eaten through the menu and consider the Cashew Chicken to be their best. Chicken salad sandwich being a close second. You should definitely try their salad as a side or meal. It's all spring mix with homemade croutons and homemade dressings. In the summer I've eaten it as a meal. The staff is ridiculously friendly and enjoy banter. The seating is limited, you may have to wait. Went down on Tuesday with the wife for Lunch after my trip to the Marshfield VA Medical Center. Was VERY disappointed to find out they didn't have a lunch buffet as advertised here nor could we get any info on when they had it. Stayed for lunch anyway. Waitstaff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers even though there were plenty of open tables. The Salad bar was embarrassing and NOT worth even the one-time trip price ($4.99) and DEFINITELY not worthy of a return trip price of $6.99. The burgers and fries were average at best with the toppings at the end of their life-cycle and not crisp or very fresh. Never received a refill or even an offer for one. We don't expect to return for a second go-around. Would have been better off to just come home and grill...

We dont live in marshville but my bestie and i r always looking for an adventure, so off we go to Shelias!!!! The waitress who took our drink order was great, nice friendly, smiling and then another waitress took our food order. Her name was KRIS she was not the nicest person I’ve ever met. She was very condescending. Acted like she was better than everybody else and talk to you like you were not real smart and not one time did she ask how our food was, never came back to table and walking by our table said some very rude things!! so just to say we like the food, but we will not go back because of the service.
