Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Martin

The food was amazing...... The service not so much...... The lady was very nice but it was a little frustrating trying to figure out what was offered we did get in there about 45 minutes before close... Which the local places that I have been to where I live that's never been an issue don't get me wrong it's not a habit that I try to have.... But that day we was leaving a viewing and couldn't get there any sooner... It was recommended to not eat the pizza that was up there at the buffet because it had been there for quite a while but it was also informed that the cook didn't really want to fix anything else for the buffet... But that he would so we ordered the buffet and then we was asked what pizza we wanted and asked what size we wanted which was confusing since it was supposed to be for the buffet.. we get the pizza I was under the impression that the salad bar was included... Nobody else did they only ate from the pizza that was made that was brought to our table... I assumed since it was brought to the table and they didn't eat anything else from the buffet because it was all thrown away... that they would just be charged for the pizza since nothing else was fixed for up there... And I would be charged for the buffet because I had a salad but then I got up there and I was charged for a salad and four buffets 😳 ended up with the tip spending about $70 for a large pizza 4 drinks and a salad that wasn't even half of a bowl size... Again the pizza was delicious but we will not be back again with that...

I ordered their delivery and can honestly say I'm disappointed ... I walk everywhere with my kiddos due to a accident I was in so when my pizza arrived burned i wasn't thrilled they did offer to replace my pizza but want me to come get it which is a 4 mile walk for me with both of my kiddos round trip. I don't have family here where I'm from Florida who can just give me rides or help me out ... I explained this to the owner that I'd even be willing to buy more if they will send the driver with the free pizza just to make it worth the trip to which they refused ... I order from here pretty often and even had plans to order for them for my kiddos up coming birthdays but they delivered me a burnt pizza the least they could do is deliver the replacement too ... Probably won't order from here anymore ...even pizza hut redelivers orders that were messed up and doesn't make their customers...

UPDATE: The buffet lately has suffered a bit. The last three times, there's been a lot of pizza that has been sitting there a while. Or, at least, it sure looked and tasted like it had been there a while. If you're there when they bring out fresh ones, they're certainly a lot better.

The buffet was great! There was a lot of choices of pizza on the buffet. There's not a whole lot of seating for peak times, so be prepared to wait a little bit at lunch or dinner. I was there at lunch. But the pizza tasted great and the soda...
