Don't waste your time. We'd been passing by for almost a year and finally stopped. My husband and I came in early at 4pm because we skipped lunch. The waitress seated us reluctantly under the stink eye of the kitchen crew. She then gave me a list of sodas when I, a 47 yr old woman, inquired about the beverages an Italian restaurant might serve. I expected wine and maybe beer, followed by diet coke. But nope. This Italian restaurant really doesn't seem interested in the full dining experience despite signs on the walls otherwise. We were the only customers and she still didn't hear my husband ask for a Yeungling 3x. When another waiter brought my beer, he asked if something was missing and immediately went and got my husband's missing order.
Then came time to order. Spaghetti carbonera and spaghetti puttanesca. My husband repeated his order 2x and the waitress seemed not to understand the Italian pronunciation despite working in an Italian restaurant. Each plate arrived with a pound of pasta, the cheap $1 per box kind. The carbonera sauce was salty - more than I expected- and had no bacon whatsoever. I got one piece of basil which was nice but more would have been better. It tasted like Spaghettios, the $1 per can. But this plate was $12.99. My husband fared no better with his puttanesca. Watery and insipid. The best part was the kalamata (Greek) olives on the side of the dish, but it's difficult to screw up canned olives. $40 for this dinner was too much.
We left half of the food on the plate. The waitress asked if we wanted a box. No we did not. But she never inquired why. Nonna is probably rolling over in her grave sad that we left her house hungry and stopped for a bottle of wine and a nice cheese on...

I honestly liked that there weren't many people because it was quieter, felt private, and since there were few people, we were attended quickly. Service was also amazing, they were very attentive, would ask if we needed anything and were very polite. It is also bilingual, as in, english and spanish.
The environment was a very comfortable and homey environment with the checkered cloths, beautiful decorations and paintings. Though, we only tried 3 dishes, they were very delicious. I especially loved the fries because the were just made, so warm and crunchy and soft on the inside. Absolutely delicious 10/10. The pizza looked and tasted amazing, though the cheese was chewy and kind of hard to chew, it was still amazing, and the crust was the same as the fries, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside.
The garlic bread was also warm, crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The mushrooms tasted fresh and not just from out of a can. The chicken tasted great and so did the pasta.
I personally plan on coming back to try the other and new dishes that this wonderful restaurant offers.
It is an amazing local restaurant that you should...
Read moreSo in all my years living growing up in Sicily. I have never ever had anybody's nonna sauce taste so American. What a disappointment. I got my pizza it was good thats why I gave them a 2 star, but I got Mozzerella fritta sounds fancy ay,not from here ,burger king sales better ones .I was expecting from the description lightly breaded mozzarella.they weren't even melted gross anyway they where so bad we didn't even bother to eat them. Maybe the container took the crisp away ,then I ordered a childs spaghetti and meatball it was watered down .the meatball on the outside was a little burned no biggie but, i went to cut it and realized it was still raw inside and the texture I know cant be all beef .witch is fine to but maybe mention that in the description some people dont eat pork and most restaurants dont mention it if its just beef so when mixing meats it nice to advise people. Some people dont eat pork .overall I heard people talking about this place so I decided to try it I won't make that same mistake twice.all my friends over here are American so I guess they just didn't understand that this is no Italian food and is it is they must be from North Italy the food also has no taste ...
