We've been all across the country in our RV during the pandemic, and this was the worst place we've seen as far as safety. The tiny dining room was completely packed with zero distancing and no patrons wearing masks. No empty table or space between tables. I don't think it's even legal right now for people to sit practically shoulder to shoulder and back to back, but it definitely isn't safe.

I almost died of covid earlier this year (sick 6 weeks, lost 24 pounds), so I hated seeing all the many elderly customer there playing Russian Roulette for a plate of eggs. So not worth it, especially with so many older customers at high risk.

Luckily there was a table outside so we just took that one. The food was okay. Servers were nice. Definitely not worth dying, or even getting sick for 6...

A country family-owned little diner featuring a good selection of breakfast and dinner foods, including seafood. Both selection and quality are better than anything in the chain eateries.

We stopped on our way from the shore headed inland while hauling a camper. Parking across the street from the diner was easy and stress free. Re-entry onto 50 west-bound involved a flip turn. Bigger units (large Class A with a large trailer) might need to proceed eastbound for a bit to find a turn-around. I would rate it an easy, relaxing stop. It's much less chaotic than most highway/interstate exits and the business district just west of the diner.

Overall, the food and service were well worth the tiny bit of effort. ...

Excellent food! Best omelette, hash browns, and biscuit I've had in a long time. Love the antique tools on the walls. Good service. The place is small and was packed with locals and they all knew each other. Great community feel! It's true that there's no social distancing. The sheriff's department even came in and when there was no socially distanced table available, they took the eliminated table behind us. We only saw one other customer with a mask. Some of the staff wore masks. Obviously this didn't stop us from totally enjoying the food and the atmosphere but if you want safety, better to sit outside if it's warm enough or wait a while.

We LOVED this diner! My family came for breakfast and had a fabulous experience. The food is authentic and delicious, and the diner was packed even at 8:30am on a weekday with locals. It felt like a true local hotspot. We had just about every breakfast item on the menu between us. My sausage breakfast sandwich and blueberry pancakes were drool-worthy, and my toddler nephew practically bathed in the sausage gravy. 😂 My grandmother was thrilled with her scrapple (not deep-fried!). If we were visiting the area for longer we would be returning, for sure. Next time!

Stopped here based on a local recommendation with my husband. I had a cheese omelet with a blueberry pancake and my husband had the big breakfast Platter. The food was okay...nothing special. The omelet tasted like bacon grease...not terrible just worth mentioning. My mom used to fry eggs with bacon grease when I was young, so it reminded me of my childhood. The restaurant had a homey feel and the people were friendly. The food just wasn't what I expected.
