DR Seafood & Catering — Restaurant in Maryland

Kind of annoyed after going here last weekend. I've gotten crabs from the truck and they were decent so I decided to try their new restaurant up the street. I ordered food and dined in. The food came in a plastic bag even though i was dining in, so after i ate, the plastic bag went right into the trash. I then ordered a sandwich to go which also came in a plastic bag. When i got home I realized i was charged for both bags. First off I wouldn't have wanted the first bag just to sit right down at the table. And if i did already have a bag just to dine in, i could have used that bag for my to go order rather than just throwing 5 cents into the trash. This obviously isn't about the 10 cents but I don't think customers should be charged anything without it being mentioned, especially just to sit and dine in. Every restaurant or grocery store in howard county either asks or somehow mentions the bag charge before they actually...

The only reason this place did not get 1 star is because they were very friendly. However, i purchasee 2 fried seafood dinners and I was HIGHLY disappointed. Nothing was seasoned at all. The fish was small and appeared to be frozen and breaded not fresh. The scallops were smaller than a dime in diameter. The crabcake had a lot of filler and a lot a shells in too. The fried butterfly shrimp was ok. But the same thing you can buy frozen from the grocery store. The best thing was the hush puppies and they were just mediocre at best. Don't waste your time with the velveeta shells mac n cheese. I also ordered the cream of crab soup which was extremely thick and chunky and also full of shells like the crabcake. I expected fresh seafood but got frozen seafood worse than...

Extremely tiny portions and very overpriced. The bowl cream of crab soup was smaller than a cup at most places. It was about the size of a teacup. I have gotten portions at least 5 times the size for the same price. And by far the WORST soft shell crab sandwich I have ever had. It was so tiny I literally couldn't see the crab inside the bun. The girls working there are stupid, condescending and incompetent. And, as a student who works part time retail, I am usually very sympathetic towards anyone in customer service. The were very rude. They mischarged us. Then they forgot the onion rings we ordered completely, even though we repeated our order multiple times.
