Gladiators Pizza and Deli — Restaurant in Maryland

My family has visited Gladiators many times as we like to support local establishments and the food has generally been good picking up or eating in. Tonight after an exhausting week we decided to get delivery. Unfortunately this was not a great experience. Although it didn't take long to get our food, our order wasn't great. The mozz sticks: all but one was missing the cheese (over cooked). We ordered a marinara and a ketchup and the mozz sticks should have had marinara. We got 2 ketchups. One exploded all over our onion rings. Small pizza, slightly overcooked as well and the steak on cheese steak overcooked and tough. The place was bustling. The pizza was ready at the stated time. We got 3 10" pizzas.. Very close proximity to the 3 8" types we usually get from Ledo's. $38 for theirs, $29 for Ledos. The pizza had about an inch thick crust so deduct crust. For the Veggie pizza there were a small handful of veggies thrown on...Ledo's 8" square pizza has very little crust and takes up more real estate. Ledo's has veggies on every square inch of its pie. The pizza wasn't bad --- it just wasn't worth the money. What ever you call you pie put enough on it to make it worth the difference in price. We love gladiator pizza. I was very excited to see that they also offer gluten free pizza. The subs are delicious. I think we’ve tried most things on the menu and have always been happy. My only complaint is that when you do an online order for pickup it wants you to choose your tip, I think it’s 18, 20 & 25 but I’m not 100% sure. If you don’t want to tip for a pickup order you have to decline those options. I know other places do this as well but it’s uncomfortable and kinda forces you to tip 20% on a pickup order.
