Review: Little Brick Coffee – Shepherd, WA

Little Brick Coffee is a cozy, welcoming spot that feels like the heart of Shepherd. The space has a warm, rustic charm that makes it easy to settle in, whether you’re meeting a friend, catching up on work, or just grabbing a quick cup.

The coffee itself is well-crafted — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. I’d rate the drinks a 4/5. Their lattes and cold brews are standouts, and it’s nice to see a mix of classic options alongside a few creative seasonal flavors.

Service was friendly and genuine, about a 4/5. The staff takes time to make sure your order is right and offers great recommendations if you’re not sure what to try. It’s not “big city fast,” but it matches the relaxed vibe of the place.

The atmosphere is where Little Brick really shines. I’d give it a 4.5/5. Between the exposed brick, comfy seating, and local art touches, it feels like a true community hub — the kind of café where you want to linger.

Overall, Little Brick Coffee is more than just a caffeine stop — it’s a spot with character, quality, and connection. If you’re passing through Shepherd, it’s definitely worth the visit.

This may be called Little Brick Coffee, but it has quickly become a big part of the community. Dorrie has done wonders with this little building from its welcoming atmosphere, ever changing holiday or event decorations and most importantly delicious drinks! They have a vast menu from regular coffee drinks, fancy & fun espressos, lattes, etc., iced or hot, lemonades & tea as well as yummy treats like pastries, cookies, chips, popcorn & chocolates from local vendors. Stay inside & sip your drink while chatting with their ridiculously nice baristas or go around back to sit in their outdoor area that is shaded. They seem to always have an upcoming event, usually involving something for the kids, but enjoyable by all. Kids & I love stopping in on way to work/school. Great way to start or end your day! Highly...

This is such a little gem of a coffeeshop! The interior is small and cozy. Only two tables inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks were phenomenal - so yummy that we came back the next day for more! I had both an iced latte (shaken brown sugar latte) and a hot latte (beekeeper). Both were delicious. I am lactose intolerant, so I appreciated that a few of their lattes were made with oat milk anyways, so I didn't need to ask for it (it is also an option to sub it in any drink!). The baked goods were amazing, too. I would highly recommend this little shop whether you're a local or a visitor, like us! (As a bonus, there is a fenced in chicken coop nearby - our 11 month old daughter enjoyed walking over to look at...

This little coffee shop is well worth the wait. There can be a wait at peak times and the shop is small so you may be cramped or have to wait outside but it never takes too long. I highly recommend their signature drinks. I'm not big on artificial or overly sweet coffees and they do a great job of delivering flavor without overdoing it on the sugar. The drink pictured is a smores coffee and by all rights should be filled with sugar but is so artfully done, the chocolate is rich, the marshmallow cold foam is toasty, and the coffee shines through. Their beekeeper latte is another great example of coffee craft. They are more expensive but the quality makes them a worthwhile treat. Good selection, some pastries available and other coffee merch. Check them out!
