McDonald's — Restaurant in Maryland

If I could give a 0 stars I would. Listen I don't write many reviews, let alone bad ones BUT this called for one today. As we were traveling from PA to OCMD for bike week, we stopped here for breakfast with my 2 daughters. We paid cash so we went to the counter, the lady wasnt super friendly but she wasnt rude either. She was a manager, and to save herself from the negativity and rudeness of others I won't mention her name. She started helping us but ended up messing up. There was 4 of us, I told her what my oldest wanted then my youngest then myself and husband last. Needless to say she didnt understand I needed more then I did. When I tried to tell her after the fact she didnt charge me for what I needed and she missed my youngest order she said she would fix it. Brought the food to our table and I was still missing food. She couldn't find half the items on the register which is just baffling to me. I gave her cash of 100.02 and out total was 29.62. She couldn't even give me change back and had to call another manager over to help her get the register open. The food was extremely greasy, which yes I know its going to be greasy, but this today was way beyond normal grease, you could see it rolling off the steak and sausage we had. To top it all off, there was no tea containers In the lobby or even napkins for that matter it was all kept in the drive thru area and the store was down right dirty. So many tables were gross and dirty you yourself had to ask for napkins just to wipe off the grossness. Its 1020 in the morning and rush hour was over. Before anyone jumps my review, I've worked at a mcdonalds for 3 years and never in my entire career or even continuing to go to mcdonalds have I EVER seen one as poorly run and managed and dirty as this one! I know for a fact my store manager and franchise owners would be ringing necks if they walked into this. I am just baffled by it all. And to finish our visit off we went to the bathroom before finishing our drive to the shore and the bottom of the bathroom stalls where the door sits were rusting, the water was so hard coming out it got both me and my girls soaked on our shirts and the counter was covered in water like someone had just dumped a bucket of water on them. Overall I just wouldn't recommend stopping here, I know truckers do because its quick and easy access to 301 but lord save your sanity and cleanliness for somewhere else. We won't be stopping there again, we will either go to Wendy's next door or the wawa. Very disappointed that this owner and store managers, along with the 2 on duty today let's this store...

The customer service during our recent visit was the worst I have ever received at any McDonald's. We arrived at this McDonald's on a Saturday at 12:50 p.m., my wife went inside to place the order while I walked our dog behide the parking lot. Although they were not really busy, it took almost 10 minutes just to place the order. At 1:09 she texted me and said she was just told it would be two more minutes for the hash browns.

I walked the dog around some more and when she failed to come outside I put him in the car and went into the McDonalds. I asked her for the receipt which showed the order had been placed at exactly 1:00, it was now 1:17. I went to the counter and asked the gentleman when the food would be ready. He didn't say a word, just turned around and walked to the food preparation area, and then returned a few seconds later with our two meals. I asked him why it took so long for us to get our food. He just looked at me with a blank stare, didn't say a word. I asked to speak to the manager and he said that he was the manager. I showed him the receipt and said it took 17 minutes for you to make two meals. Why did it take so long? His only response was, "Had to cook egg. We don't have eggs ready this time of day." No apology, no empathy, nothing.

So, if you don't mind waiting almost 30 minutes just to get your food at a Mcdonalds then stop on in to this one just before the Bay Bridge. My wife said that while she was waiting she heard two other customers also complained about the long wait.

On a side note, and I know this is not entirely their fault, the parking lot is disgusting. For some reason, crabbers have found this to be a convenient place to dump bushels of spoiled crabs. While walking the dog around the outside of the huge parking lot in the back, I saw at least five bushels of crabs in various...

Pulled up to the Drive-through was greeted with “ what you want” we had 2 orders both with sauce for our nuggets We pulled up to the window and sat there with the McDonald’s window open for like 15 mins only to here the employee (blonde hair and DEFINITELY ON DRUGS probably meth) complaining, comes to the window hands us one of our 2 drinks and sends us to the other window while waiting another 10 mins before our food got to us I noticed there was some gunk in the inside of the lid in my cup so when she brought my food I asked her to bring me a different one so I handed it to her and she rolled her eyes and walked in. While she was inside I noticed that my box for my nuggets wasn’t even closed and they were scattered in the bottom of the bag that she also did not give me sauce so I got out of the car to walk inside and the lobby was shut I didn’t want to get back in line considering I had already waited over 30 mins and the line was pretty backed up at this point so I simply came back to the window to ask for sauce and she said “listen I really can’t have you out here at the window. I replied I’m sorry had you done your job correctly I wouldn’t be out here to being with.

She took the sauce and tossed them in my hand so obviously they fell to the ground and says “you don’t have to come back here” she literally was hanging out of the second window yelling at me while all the people behind me were waiting and watching her the guy that was behind me in the truck talked to me and said “I’m pretty sure she’s on drugs” had I not walked away from this crazy woman I’m pretty sure she would’ve tried to fight me...smh

NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION - if the manager that works for here I’f you see this you probably know exactly who I’m talking about, keeping her at your store will do nothing but harm...
