Hi fellow consumers i called this papa john and was told that they had deals online that was not in store. i then went online and ordered one of there specials after talking to a manager; who was helpful at first for recommending me to their online site. I then used the papa tracker after placing my order online to see when my food will arrive. However the papa tracker seemed to be inn-accurate so i called the store and talked to their team member who not only told me about the papa tracker but how the wrong number to best reach me at; even though its pretty simple to look online to find the columbia mall location and phone number to my store. I decided to wait for the driver and by time i realized there was no one coming for over 3 hours. I then called again to talk to someone about the time frame or if there was an accident. The driver did not recieve the message i left him on the new number nor did the team member i talked to previous told me about their new policy that the manager was explaining. The part that makes me a mad and dissappointed consumer was that they actually told me that they do not deliver to the mall of Columbia. This was laughable to me when i know for sure they did this many times; ie about a week or two before today.After i explained to the managers at the harper location they continued to give terrible service and argued with me, when there people are obviously at fault for not being able to do the right things. Read moreNormally the delivery is great. Today, 24 May it was not. It took an 1.5 hrs to get my order. Now the restaurant did call once after it hit 10 mins after the expected delivery time, but did not leave a message. I don't have the phone number saved in my phone so it was an unknown number and I did not answer. Next I called at 30 mins when my pizza did not arrive. I was told my order was at the store and just on its way out for delivery. 20 mins later I get a another phone call from the papa johns, the only reason I knew the number now was because I had called them. This time, the person on the phone said they'd been trying to reach me for over an hour..(hmmm, didn't get told that when I called) the gentleman said the driver couldn't find my house and any time I order pizza ONLINE I should EXPECT to get a call from an unknown number! (Really?! I would happily call an unknown number back IF there is a message left. That's phone safety 101). The gentleman tells me he's sending the driver out again and to answer my phone if an unknown number comes up. This time I send my husband to the street to wait for the driver. HE flags her down, she stops in the middle of the street, no turn signal or hazard lights. The car behind her starts beeping, which is why she turns into the driveway. Hands my husband the pizza, he wait a for the receipt so he can sign it....she hands the pizza to him and drives off. Read more11/12/21 UPDATE The customer service from this store is never very good, but today, I was told I didn’t pace an order. I posted the pic of my order. Papa Track said my order was delivered. The manager couldn’t find my order and seemed to blame me for something going wrong on their end. He also didn’t sound like he cared at all either. He did not offer any kind of restitution like getting my order to me immediately. It’ll be hard giving up the food I really like, I’m never ordering from this store again! And I don’t recommend that you do either!
Brownies are always tasty, but this store only gets my order right 45% of the time. I always order through the app and get cheese sticks, brownies, and an extra sauce for the cheese sticks because one isn’t enough. Extra sauce prices recently went up from $0.50 to $0.75, but I’m still paying for something I’m not getting. I even add directions to the driver, “Must B 2 sauces!”
For today’s order, I didn’t get my second sauce, the cheese sticks are missing cheese on the end pieces, which is typical, and there is a line in the brownies from closing the lid with the flap IN a brownie. Annoying! Needless to say that one didn’t come out of the tin well at all. This is the only Papa Johns that delivers to my house and I love the cheese sticks and brownies, so I keep coming back.
