Our first choice, JessyJay's, had a wait so we tried 4 other Deale restaurants that were either waitlist or closed. Then a local recommended Petie Greens. Was a little concerned that it was nearly empty (only 2 other diners & a few ppl at bar) but it was a pleasant surprise. The rockfish sandwich was awesome. Cream of crab soup was very good...could have had more crab but then it was only $6. Hamburger was nicely done. Would go back for the rockfish sandwich. The menu is small, which isn't a bad thing. Seating area isn't separated from the bar & there was an inebriated customer who was so loud we couldn't have conversation at our table without yelling. Fortunately they left halfway thru our meal.

When we first came upon this place the group I was with noticed the beautiful sunset right be the water nearby. I also took some photos upon entering and noticed the sweet gargoyles atop of the building. Accompanied by the neon "Petie GREENS" sign, this place just looks really cool. We got a table promptly and the service was as well. Our server Pam was friendly and did a great job accommodating us. I felt at home. The crab fries were better than I could dream of and our food came out right away.

The staff was fantastic, especially our waitress. The stuffed mushrooms are absolutely fantastic. The jerk wings are glazed to perfection. The loss of a star was due to the blackened salmon leaking with water. The Chocolate lava cake was a great recovery! My wife who normally doesn't like that specific dessert even enjoyed the ice-cream. Overall a great experience, minus the salmon.

The food was very much mediocre here. I got a burger that wasnt terrible, but wasn't anything to jump up and down about either. People I was with did not enjoy their food at all. They got fish and chips that were super greasy and tasteless, and the crab cake sandwich that was also sub par. The water even tasted weird. Our waitress was nice, but was very much preoccupied with the bar area more than the tables. I also noticed that the online menu and pictures do not match what the restaurant actually offers, which was disappointing. The prices don't line up either. They are actually a few dollars more in the restaurant than what online says. I know inflation has caused prices to rise everywhere, but for the quality of the food we received, the pricing was outrageous. There was nothing spectacular about our visit. We won't be back to this establishment...

You are supposed to "Title this review" I could think of many titles... Treat your tastebuds!, A hidden gem!, What a find!, you get the picture... OMGosh, what a pleasant surprise. My wife and I are new to the area, while riding our bicycles in this quaint little neighborhood, we saw this old style building with a gravel parking lot, it looked interesting, so we stopped in to read the menu, we liked what we saw, ordered lunch and have been hooked since our first bite. During our 5th visit, we met the owner Justin who is obviously deeply entrenched in every facet of this wonderful restaurant, he shared one of his philosophy "use nothing but the freshest ingredients. Do your tastebuds a favor and stop and enjoy some of the best tasting and freshest food you'll find anywhere... Petie Greens Bar and Grill in...

Revised review for aug 2022 visit. Food quality has disappointingly taken a turn for the worse. Unfortunately tonight's dinner was reminiscent of a restaurant trying to cut labor costs/challenges by purchasing prepackaged food. The blackened salmon special I had this evening was a small portion with limited spices smothered in orange grocery store marmalade. The appetizer of bang bang shrimp was made from frozen breaded shrimp and was mostly breading with a prebottled sauce with a few scallions mixed in. Pricing had increased significantly since COVID, which is understandable due to today's food costs, but higher prices paired with significantly lower quality food will unfortunately spell doom for this restaurant.

Past review: Great food, great service, accommodated...
