Pizza Boli's — Restaurant in Maryland

Food was amazing and the customer service was PERFECT!!! Ended up loving the Lamb Rice Bowl SOOOOOOOO much that I ordered it 2 days in a row! Honestly I'll probably order it again today! I've only ever had lamb a cpl times in my life... The 1st at the State Fair in a Gyro (I had absolutely NO IDEA it was lamb when I ordered it, I just saw a giant meat on a metal rod (spit) and I didn't care what it was... I love meat and it looked delicious and it was!) and the next 2 times I purchased lamb steaks and seasoned and cooked them myself and both times they were so amazing that I began to mentally prepare myself to replace my favorite Beef Steaks with Lamb, until I realized that the Lamb Meat was beginning to get ALOT more expensive since the pandemic! Needless to say, I'm not the biggest 'Lamb' eater, and I've NEVER in my life even considered ordering a Lamb Dish from anywhere I've ever ordered food! I've had just about EVERYTHING on the Pizza Boli's menu (everything that I personally enjoy anyway) and I'm a long time fan of Pizza Boli's. I've, DEFINITELY, had food from at least 10 different locations in my lifetime... And I've NEVER had any kind of rice bowl from Pizza Boli's ever in my life, certainly not one with Lamb! 🥩 🍖 In my mind I'm still trying to wrap my head around my decision to order a Lamb and Chicken Rice Bowl in the 1st Place, but let me tell you... IT'S FREAKING AMAZING!!!! I got the sauces on the side at 1st because I'm not exactly accustomed to consuming Lamb, so I have ZERO clue what "white sauce" (😳) even is, let alone what it actually tastes like! I still don't know what it is!! The combination of the Lamb, Chicken and Rice with the (🫢) white sauce is BEYOND AMAZING!!! Add just a tiny bit of the green herb sauce and mix it all together and BAM!!!!! IT'S PERFECT!!! LoL I do not eat iceburg lettuce so I did order my Bowl without it... As well as the tomatoes (love tomatoes, just not mixed with meat and rice) and onions, so I'm reviewing the Lamb Gyro and Chicken Bowl with ONLY the meat and rice (I added pineapple to the rice for a bit of added vitamins and a sweet kick and it's a HIT this way!!!!) mixed all together with the white sauce and a little green herb sauce. In my opinion, this is one of the greatest surprise finds at a pizza place EVER!!! HONESTLY ...IT'S THAT GREAT THAT I'M GONNA GO ORDER IT AGAIN!!! LIKE RIGHT NOW!!!! IT REALLY IS PRETTY GREAT!!!

GREAT FOOD, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, SUPER FAST AND ACCURATE DELIVERY.. NOT TO MENTION SUPER KIND AND COOL MANAGEMENT AND DRIVERS!

And no... I don't know anyone that works here personally so this isn't a paid or incentivized review in any way shape or form. I've had so many bad experiences ordering food since the pandemic that I was surprised, excited, and grateful to FINALLY find a place that, not only got a customized order right in every way, but provided a great customer service experience and was super quick to deliver our food piping hot and amazingly fresh and delicious!

Thank You Pizza Boli's...

Ordered pizza, mozz sticks, French fries and a soda. Placed the order around 8, said it would be delivered by 820/830. Food was about 30 minutes later than promised and the issue does not lie with door dash. The driver works directly for pizza bolis. At about 830 when my ordered status was not updated from “preparing food”, I called the store to check on the order. The guy had to look me up in the system and didn’t know a DoorDash order had come through. He said he’d call the driver and call me back. He did but said the driver would be here in 5 or 6 mins. It showed up a half hour later, cold. The fries had the taste and texture of reheated fries, so those were thrown away. The mozzarella sticks were cooled, soft and almost soggy on the outside and barely cooked. The soda wasn’t warm but wasn’t cold with. The pizza was the only thing that was decent but it was still not warm upon arrival. To top it off, driver didn’t follow deliver instructions, rang the doorbell, and caused my dogs to wake up my baby. Needless to say , I will not be coming back to this location- in person or through delivery. Ordering 2 hours before close should not mean I get low quality food. I have never had such a bad experience with pizza bolis. Although I haven’t been in a while, this experience has not left me...

This was a hard decision for how many STARS to give this place. FOOD gets a 5 but SERVICE gets a 1. First off.. don't EVER and I repeat EVER order online. if you do the will wait FOREVER because it won't come. My gut feeling is they don't pay attention to the online orders because mine have NEVER came until i wait an hour and then call in asking what happened. About that calling in stuff... might as well be talking a made up language because no matter what you say or ask the canned response is OK OK and what do you want to order... even if you are calling in about anything else, definitely a language barrier thing. Delivery is SLOWWWWWWW. I mean rock bottom slow with someone who doesn't quite get it (I'm thinking the whole language barrier thing again ). The guy had no clue of anything even where to go or how to get there even though I met him down the road and POINTED to my 20 yards away. Why was I up the road even pointing to him... because it had been an hour and a half and i was on my way to the freaking place to see where my Pizza was even though I had CALLED 40 minutes earlier and was assured it was out for delivery. ALL THAT SAID... BEST DARN PIZZA AROUND!!!!!! But lately it's not really seeming worth the hassle to get...
