The workers were both about ease of experience and helped us to review the menu while waiting patiently, one training the other. They ensured that the order was accurately placed in the system by repeating it until it was perfect! While the sandwiches came incorrectly marked for the two of us, the food is absolutely scrumptious! We ordered cheesesteaks and handfuls of fries. Iâve had many fries in my life and these do not disappointâwith the flavor, temperature, and texture all competing for perfection, it is a delight to have these as a side to the sandwiches. The cheesesteak meat is not complex and yet is thoroughly delicious. The prep work for the steak (shaving and soaking it for flavor) renders it a beefeating celebration, and the incorporated cheese holds it together to this tasterâs delight. I added a Reuben b/c iâm always in search of the perfect reuben. The Ravage Reuben holds its own and was stacked handsomely with premium corned beef. Tha bread is toasted optimally and the other components fully enhance the Reuben experience. Some folks find Ravage a tad pricey and i say it is completely worth every penny! We also had a bacon jalapeño mac-n-cheese which can use some more heat! I hope fortune favors Ravage and they can consider location modificationâas we sat almost IN the restroom and could hear every word of a nearby customerâs convo about all things C19, which wonât stop me from eating at Ravage, but certainly can affect the timbre of the dine-in experience at the time. Highly...
Read moreI saw that this deli was rated one of the best Philly Cheese steak subs outside of Philly. So, I had to go see what all the guys was about. After going there, I have to say that I agree. The sub had a good mix of meat and cheese to the bread. The meat was well seasoned and treated great. It wasn't greasy, but nice and tender. I highly recommend it, especially if your favorite cheese steaks in Philly are from Pat's or Geno's, then you'll be even more impressed. My wife ordered the chicken cheese steak and I tried a bite, my opinion is the same. Great taste, well seasoned, juicy and good mix of cheese, chicken and bread. On top of that, they offer a lot of French fry options. Duck far fries were great, it you can get regular fries with Cajun seasoning, old Bay it see salt. You can't go wing with any, as my kids got the two cities with the kids meals that we didn't. In the end we had way too many fries and all tasted great! The deli is quite small, only a few tables, but most people seemed to be taking their orders to go on this busy day. The place is a bit on the pricey side, but just know that you are getting very high quality food for what you part. Keep in mind that the fry portions are large, even the kids fries. So order fries small...
Read moreI really enjoy getting recommendations from ppl and then trying places myself and comparing them to what I was told...sometimes it goes well. sometimes it's a nightmare, but still fun irregardless.
Well, I was told Ravage Deli had a fine cheesesteak, so I said I had better go investigate this claim. Man, am I glad I did... It really was one of the better cheesesteaks I've had in the past several years. If I understood the gentleman who rang me up correctly, they added a beef bone broth that throughly marinates and moisturizes the meat. it can truly be tasted in every bite. so many steak sandwiches are bland and dry nowadays but not at Ravage. Tye roll was as fresh and soft as possible and quite a perfectly complement to the previously mentioned beef. overall, it is a wonderful sandwich.
Before I wrap it up, I also wanted to shout out the employees at Ravage. it's so nice to be genuinely greeted nowadays and made to feel appreciated. it's virtually a lost concept to treat customers like friends, but that's exactly how they do it at Ravage Deli. great job, guys. I look forward to returning and exploring other parts of the menu...
