Simmons opened their doors back in 1923 and is still enjoyed by visitors near and far. The owners Jean and Carroll Neudecker make the ice cream themselves with the help of their granddaughter. Flavors route based on local flavors available like Raspberry, Cherry, Peach, Blueberry and Strawberry while always serving Chocolate and Vanilla. Using fresh ingredients you can taste the love that goes into every scoop. 🍨 Order by the scoop or take some home by quart or gallon! 🦉 Take a look around the store filled with candy, antiques and a large collection of owl decor. ❤️I grew up going to this ice cream store and would love to watch a ball game out back while enjoying my cone. I feel so blessed I can share this memory with my own children.

Hands down my favorite ice cream place to go to. My dad has been going to this place since he was in his early teens, he's 63 now. He introduced me to this place around the same age he was when he started going. I do live in Pa, but anytime we were in Maryland and remotely near there, I'd beg him to stop and get some ice cream. They don't have as many flavors as other places, but in my opinion the mastered the basic flavors they have! My favorite is either the chocolate or strawberry, but I also have tried their other flavors which are great also! I hope to take my future family...

Best ice cream, ever. Places like this are increasingly uncommon... an old-fashioned throw-back almost unchanged for 50 years. Always vanilla and chocolate, plus whatever fresh fruit flavors that are available, all handmade on-site.

Treat yourself and try anything in-season, blueberry and peach are among the best. And the vanilla is the best I've ever...

Visited today based on the lofty reviews; I get the quaint 60s factor (including the odor) but cmon people, raise your standards a bit. It was a standard scoop of freezer burned run of the mill chocolate ice cream; three stars because they seemed a nice family. Otherwise any Turkey...
