Over the last few years, I have ordered several times from this bakery. I’ve ordered large quantities of cupcakes. I’ve even ordered large quantities through Nicks of Clinton from this bakery. Of course the cupcakes were delicious. However, my last large order was repulsive. Commonsense would inject that this was not done on purpose. So I made contact with the bakery and their professional response was heartbreaking. I was told, “Oh well ya I don’t know, we use same recipe all time, sometimes don’t get color etc…”. How on gods green earth is that customer service or an appropriate response from a corporation or business to a customer? As a business, you should encourage customer retention not the total opposite, that’s business 101 I think? How in the world do you tell a customer not to order color icing, it is your job as a professional to balance out your ingredients. I’m just totally disappointed and I’ve wasted time and money, supporting a business that refused to even say, we apologize or we will assure that will not happen again or anything positive!!!! I am disgusted that I supported a business like this. I’m not just coming in to buy one or two cupcakes I buy many, bulk amounts and this is the thanks I get as a customer. During these unfortunate, sad times it is heart wrenching that businesses no longer care and don’t take customer service or...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER HERE. Honestly, there’s WAY too many talented bakeries in the area to be subjected to nonsense. Ordered a lemon cake online, through doordash, and I called the bakery to see when I could pick up. Terry and the other lady literally kept over talking me as I’m explaining I ordered online. They said I shouldn’t have done that rather called in. What’s the point of having an online option if you don’t work with the service providers (doordash/Ubereats). Terry, the owner, was nasty when I asked that question. She said “i don’t know, how am I suppose to know?” Girl it’s your business!!!!! Obviously, I ended up cancelling my order and went to Mix 'N Sweetz Bakury. I will definitely never recommend this...
Read moreI attempted to order a cake for my son’s birthday party and it seemed as though they did not want to service me. I made a call to get more information on pricing and I was told instantly that it was too much for a kids bday. So instead she mentioned that I could go to a local grocery store to get a cake. If I wanted a grocery store cake I would have not called this bakery. She didn’t ask me any further details about what I wanted and when I needed the cake. I automatically took her response as a no and politely ended the call. I always wanted to try this bakery but I was not impressed and extremely annoyed by the way she basically denied my request for a cake. I will never...
