Wawa — Restaurant in Maryland

Last week I pre ordered my usual panini, go to the register and told the older brotha with the beard I have an pick up order and told him the number, he said he didn't know what I was talkin about. I told him it's a food order, so he goes to the area behind the register and says he doesn't see it, so I go to the pick up area to ask and was told it should b here on at the register, so I go back to the register and there it is. I tell the girl I just asked this guy and he said it wasn't there. Of course there was nothing she could say and another brotha looked at me, laughed and said yea i heard him say it. I Came back again, the same dude at the register, said the same dumb thing, "I don't know what u talkin bout", so I just reached back and grabbed my Sh myself.

My other issue is I ordered a cheese panini with veggies, there were plenty of veggies on it, 2nd time there r hardly any vegetables on it. Gonna try it again to see what happens.

7/7/23. So now their cutting up the chicken strips for the bowls. So am I getting the usual 3 strips or am I getting ripped off now that I can't tell how many there r because they cut them up. I think I'm getting ripped off now. 4/4/24. They did it again y'all. They cut up the chicken strips again. I put em together, the equal 2 strips of chicken when there should be 3. WAWA RIPPED ME OFF AGAIN.

6/8/24@5:15. Last 2 times I was here I noticed the bowls were lighter. They're putting less rice in the bowls now 10/1/24. They're fillin up the bowls again, they got the new squad outta there, but now, guess what, we're gettin 3 meatballs now y'all, instead of 4, i mean, come on man, really!

12/24 3 meatballs in the meatball bowl. Used to be 4. ...

The cashier who took my payment today gave me horrible customer service. My transaction was on 5/17/18 at 3:08 PM Eastern Standard time at register #12, Trx # 7180407 and the cashier's name was Makai. I purchased a sub and was not given a bag for it which is standard procedure. When I asked for a bag the cashier got upset and pulled one out and threw it towards me in my general direction instead of handing it to me in a professional manner. The cashier seemed to be more focused on flirting with his female coworkers who were near the register area than actually doing his job in a satisfactory manner. I understand that there is a high employee turnover rate at this Wawa as I always see "we're hiring" signs posted in the windows of the store entrances and I know good help is hard to find. That being said management at this site need to do a better job of hiring and training their frontline staff. Subs and sandwiches have gone down hill. Gas prices aren’t such a good price, can get cheaper at Carrolls about 1/4 mile north of Wawa on 301.

However, the annual return of the Gobbler jurors me in. Picked up a shortie and went on my way. When I opened it at home it was basically a pile of mashed potatoes on a roll. Some gravy, a smear of cranberry, barely noticed stuffing. However what sealed the deal and made me say “NO MORE!” Was the 2 and 1/2 itsy-bitsy tiny pieces of turkey about the size of 1 finger segment. See my photo!

I’ve really been scaling back on stopping here because the made-to-order food has deteriorated in quantity & quality, gas is cheaper elsewhere, it’s congested and it’s such a dangerous hassle getting in and out of the parking areas and back onto MD Rt 301with all the giant trucks blocking access and sight lines.

Like I said- those microscopic turkey scraps...
