I want to review this restaurant in two parts. First from an ADA standpoint. We entered from the side and I was with my mom. Our dining options were to climb steps for regular tables, high top tables from the section we were in, or outside dining. I would have been ok with outside dining but I knew it was too cold for my mom. She could not climb the steps so we chose the high tops. She had a struggle getting up on them. I mention this because I learned, when I went to the restroom, they have a front entrance for their dining where they have the regular tables. It would have been nice had they offered that. Another comment from an ADA standpoint is they have one handicap parking spot (their parking lot is small, it is a small restaurant) but there is NO ADA bathroom. When I went to the restroom (up the stairs, how I discovered the front door) I looked. Two stalls. Both were the same. Two low toilets. No handrails. It would not cost the company that much to at least make the toilets ADA height (or one) and add handrails to one. Then add a lock option to the main door. No, it wouldn’t allow for a full turn stall but it would give an ADA diner the ability to lock the door and then roll up to the stall and transfer. The service was a little slow. I normally don’t say this right now because of staffing issues, etc right now but they had quite a few employees. They were all in view and not very far from us. Perhaps that is their vibe though, since you are dining on the water. Maybe they have learned diners like to sit back and enjoy. One thing I hate is running out of water / my drink. I had to ask for more water. The food, which is why you go to a restaurant, was good. The fries were steak fries but in a very unique shape. I almost switched my 3 stars to 4 just because of those fries! The burger was nice and juicy. Spinach artichoke dip was good. It could have used a little more flavor but it was good. The view is amazing so they are worth going for the view Overall, if with non ADA companions, I would go back but if you are dining with an ADA companion or you, yourself, are ADA I would be...

Positive then negative... The Buoy is a good place to eat with a nice view. We went tonight for a family dinner, with 6 adults and a child. Our waitress was great and very friendly. The food took a long time to come out, but it was a nice day so not a big deal to us. All around the table the food was just okay. Between a few burgers, fish tacos, appetizer, and the kids meal, everything was a little bland / lacking flavor. My wife got the Mex bowl with rice, forgot the actual name, but this thing was a huge bummer! The bowl was 14.99, and had the most sorry amount of food in it. (Please do yourself a favor and order something else!) I didn't grab a picture of it, but trust me that your money is better spent on another dish... We asked the waitress when she dropped it off if that was right, thinking it was a joke, but sure enough, it was "normal". I ordered the black burger. It was good, but certainly had no blackened flavoring, it was just a normal burger with pepper jack cheese and bacon. Overall, this was enough to not want to go back for a little while, I can get a better meal elsewhere for...

9/13/18 well this establishment USED TO BE MY ABSOLUTE MUST STOP AT EVERY VISIT TO MY PARENTS. I WILL NOT RETURN AT THIS POINT!!! As a buisness owner of 2 companies I highly suggest management and the owner start paying attention to the operations of the establishment!!! This visit resulted in 1 carry out order missed which was for my father for lunch as he works midnight whom with a severe heart condition has the opportunity to not be here tomorrow, however as a good dauggter I ATTEMPT to purchase him lunch and the only order the waitress admittedly forgets is my fathers!!! This year has been a bad year for this company as I have been coming for over 7 years and never recieved this type of horrible service!!! Three different unfortunate events and now I call it quits!!! The buisness owner seems to not care! So now neither do we our regular 3x a week will now be zero!!!

The waitress lied and tried to cover up her mistake instead of owning it, we all make mistakes and we already gave her a good tip, she still lied. I used to love this place not so much anymore!!!! DISSAPOINTING...

Really great meal in a chill atmopshere with attentive service! We were looking for a quiet place to have a late dinner on a Wednesday, and we popped in about 40 minutes before they closed. Staff was welcoming, and we were seated and served right away but didn't feel rushed. The menu has a variety of fish, beef medallion, and shrimp dinners, sandwiches, and salads. We opted for the salmon caesar salad, red aled battered fish and chips, and a caprese (tomato, fresh mozzerella, bread, pesto, cheese, and balsamic glaze) appetizer. Food was served fresh and looked amazing! The pesto on the caprese appetizer tasted homemade, the fish wasn't overly battered, and the tartar sauce and salad dressing also tasted fresh and made in-house so it had a great flavor. The salmon was perfect! Would definitely visit again (restaurant and bathrooms were also very clean, so that's another plus!), and look forward to it!

We are new to the Marysville area, but we've found the Junction Buoy to be our new favorite place! At first glance, the place can seem a little dated. It's been there a long time and has had several additions. The parking can seem jammed, too. But don't let these things put you off ... they just add to the experience. We have been to the Junction Buoy now about 6 or 7 times and have never had a bad meal or poor service. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. Never had to wait too long for our order either. Their fish is excellent. The smash burger is absolutely delicious. My wife favors the wraps. My favorite is the Caprese pasta. The bar selection is good with War Water on tap. There are views of the River and freighter traffic from every table. Prices are good, too. Appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 dinners for around $60.
