I recently had the pleasure of dining at “ La Popular Mexican Restaurant Y Panadería”, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Let's talk about the food. Each dish was a delightful experience, bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The ingredients tasted fresh! I even had to try their pastries and it was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is the amazing owner. Esteban, took the time to personally greet guests and share stories about the dishes and their inspiration. Their passion for food and hospitality shines through, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s evident that they care deeply about their customers and the quality of their offerings.
“ La Popular Mexican Restaurant Y Panadería” is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food, a lovely atmosphere, and a personal touch from an outstanding owner. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! It is not just a place to eat, it’s an experience that combines great food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a visit! Highly...

I ordered the fajitas de pollo, and while the vegetables were pan-fried wonderfully, the chicken was slightly tougher than I prefer but still tasted great! My partner thought the same about the carna asada he ordered regarding toughness and taste.
Highlights were the fresh tortillas and variety of salsas and chili based toppings (I'm a sucker for chili oil) as well as the fresh and flavorful peppers and onions in the fajitas. Everything was piping hot and fresh, including the rice and beans that came with our meal.
We didn't purchase any of the baked goods, but based on the number of customers who dropped in just for the bakery items, they're most likely just as good if not better than the other food they serve.
It was awesome to experience authentic dining without leaving the States, and I will definitely come again on my annual...
Read moreSo I reviewed this place years ago and was very happy with it. Last time I ate there this past year, the restaurant was updated with a new menu and management it seemed. My meal, that I always get (enchilada combo), was OK but definitely not as good as it used to be and it cost more than the menu listed it as. This time I ordered the same and it came out nothing like the picture in the menu. They made it without enchilada sauce and cheese. So meat in a tortilla. They seemed to be good with it. The other two meals were also without the anticipated cheese. So maybe they ran out of both but I think they should stop making menu items then or inform the customer. At $13+ a plate they need to do better. I will try other taco trucks in the area until I hear better. The bakery side still looks good with a good selection of breads...
