Tacos La Parrilla — Restaurant in Mattawa

I've started writing this review when I first arrived to the location and sat down. As I came in the door I was pleased by the way the place was. Furniture looked nice and new and was nice and fresh on a hot summer day. Unfortunately as I came in I found the music to a bit too loud. We waited around 30 seconds and someone gave us a menu. We ordered drinks and as we were being served a smile from the girl attending us would have been nice.

After ordering, the food was ready pretty fast and that was good because I was very hungry. I ordered a Carne Asada plate with corn tortillas. While the Carne Asada plate was delicious I felt like it had less that any other Mexican food restaurant I've been too. And their corn tortillas aren't home made like I've seen most Mexican restaurants been doing it, so it certainly took away from the experience. Despite all this I felt pretty good and didn't feel like I needed to eat more. I don't think I'll be coming back, but I'm sure some people will enjoy the near Mexican food dining experience. I must mention I'm not sure how many people from this town will come for such an experience hence most people in this town are from Mexico and Mexican descent and can probably cook the foods being offered on the menu. Lastly there was a little kid riding a scooter in the restaurant that may be cute for some but may bother others. If you pass by this town definitely give this place a try maybe...

Went in for lunch with my hubby (saw decent reviews)and saw lunch specials so I checked and made sure we were within the "time" (as did the very unfriendly waitress did with her watch in front of us. Then looking at the lunch specials said all were 6.99 including drink and side of beans and rice. When going to pay we were charged $28 . When asked about it She said prices have changed and I told your husband if he wanted diets soda it would have to be a fountain drink not can but forget to tell us that was $3 more. Food was just ok and small portions also Both ladies were extremely rude and unprofessional! We will now never go back nor reccomend this place to anyone .what a loss it could have been a really nice...

Excellent! Best to mark in your calendar that parts of the year they're OPEN THURSDAY - SUNDAY - ONLY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We enjoy carry out most times, but its a friendly, boisterous little restaurant with cold Pacifico and really good shrimp tacos!! The Guapo burrito is gigantic, a whole plate of food wrapped and smothered and cheesed. Friendly staff. Good portions....
