Stix Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Mattoon

We saw the on the specials online that the Friday special was fish and chips so we chose to give this place a try which is out of our way. We get there and they have one server so we waited about 10 min or so for her to get to us as there were 4-5 other tables. She comes to take our order only to find out that they do not have fish and chips even though it’s on the specials menu sitting on the table. It appears they’ve not had it for a while as she says she didn’t understand why they still advertise it. This was out first visit and most likely out last. Poor management. Poor server was the only one for the whole place except for the bar. The girl that bar tended just stood there and talked while the only server rushed around the best he could.
