Lemme preface this: I don't like Thai food. That being said, my duck panang curry was delicious. I finished every bite and took the rice home to finish.

This place is a lil hole in the wall spot, but the moment you walk in, you smell the food. It smells GOOD. The server never let our cups empty all night. We waited maybe five minutes for our appetizers, and about 3-4 minutes after we were done with those, they brought out our main dishes. The crab rangoons here are the best in town. The value of the sampler platter cannot be overstated; for $9, you get two chicken satay, four GIANT crab rangoons, and two fresh egg rolls. The rice, when served, appeared slightly chilled, but the moment the dome opened to consume the rice, plumes of steam wafted straight into my face - this rice was FRESH. The vegetables in our dishes were also fresh. Even though they were cooked, they still had a crisp touch to them, the slight crunch that only freshly prepared produce can have. Nothing seems to be pre-made or canned in their dishes, which is amazing for the price. The presentation of the food suggests a slightly upscale dining experience, but the prices will not break the bank. Everything is exceptionally reasonably priced. My husband LOVES spice and heat; this food left him in awe and in love (and happily humbled). We will definitely be back for more treats from this...

This is the best Thai restaurant for miles around, outstanding flavorful food, great service with lovely staff and its super clean and looks like it was built yesterday. Lovely atmosphere.

These places are rare, its not a hole in the wall, its a gift to Mattoon that needs to be supported by lots of hungry people eager to explore a healthy meal that costs less than a boring burger (yes they are great but cummon, try something new and this place will have you hooked on your first meal). We went there last night 11/27/2024 730 ish about an hour before closing and let me say one thing first and foremost overall the experience was very pleasant and inviting.
