Da Fish Shack — Restaurant in Maui

A great place for fish options upcountry. They're fresh Ono fish sandwich is delicious. They also offer a fabulous fish tacos. For those non-fish lovers they have other options.

Their coleslaw is yummy and their fries rock. Owners are super friendly, can't really compliment or knock the atmosphere since it's a food truck/court & has limited outdoor seating.

One of my first choices when I'm in the area. Hope they increase their hours soon.

My only complaint is they occasionally overcook the fish a bit. But...

I grew up In the florida keys and have been here on Maui for 7 years. Never in my LIFE have I had a better fish sandwich then here at Da Fish Shack. Had the Cajun Ono Burger and basically inhaled the entire thing, in my car because I simply could not wait till I got home. It smelled so good and tasted even better and the fish was 100% fresh and local. We were hungry after coming down from Haleakala and decided to try this place out. The food was absolutely delicious. It's located in an interesting development along with other food trucks. I don't want to ding them stars because they don't deserve it, but will say that the seating area is in a hot gravel area in the middle of all of the food trucks.
