I came here to try some Thai food because they claim to use produce from their farm, so I thought it would be healthier. Got into a surprising conversation with the guy in charge when I dared to ask if he can make a dish with less sugar. He bragged about putting lots of sugar in every single thing he cooks, then went on a rant about how he doesn't like when Europeans don't eat rice because they think it's unhealthy. Poor guy's ego quite irrationally takes it as a personal offense when people choose to be healthier by eating differently from what he cooks. Bless his heart, I do hope that one day, he learns to treat others with kindness and accept other people's decisions on what they choose to put in their body, especially when they're doing it with the best of intentions to improve their lives and those of their families.

As for the food, go buy some groceries from the store, dump a bunch of sugar and salt on it, let it stew for a while, and you would be close enough to eating their food without having to...

Let me tell you why this place is the best… it’s the DETAILS. You can just tell this food is healthy and prepared with care and love. This man really takes pride in what he’s serving people. Look at my beautiful pad Thai, with freshly cut dragonfruit and strawberry papaya on the salad! Look at how the lime peel is decorative! There were fluffy scrambled eggs and tender chicken (not the flat, dry kind you sometimes find at Thai restaurants) in the pad thai! This was absolutely delicious. The sauce was not as heavy and greasy as it can be at some places…. This place is so fresh and healthy. He even puts quail eggs...

I rarely write reviews, but I absolutely had to write one for Nui's Garden Kitchen. I showed up at opening time and was saddened to learn that they were closed and preparing for an event. However, the cook came out and, in the most hospitable way possible, insisted he make me something even though they were closed. Not only was this some of the best customer service I've ever had (in addition to letting me impose on him, he offered me free beverages while I was waiting), it was also the best Pad Thai I've ever had. If I'm ever back in Maui, this will be a place I MUST...

Delicious!!!!! This was a food truck I had found through these reviews on our way to the Lavendar farm. I am glad that I stopped by to try. We had ordered stir fry tofu, pad Thai and fried rice. Each of the items included fresh sprouts and carrots with a delicious dressing. The food truck was right in front of a small fruit/veggie stand. We also bought some delicious papayas at the stand. We brought these to go and ate it up at the Lavendar farm And then dinner at Haleakala before we saw the beautiful sunset. One of the best Thai foods I have tasted in Maui.

After our trip from Maui Hawaii I’ve been craving Nui’s it’s that good. I am writing this review because any place that can cause such a craving after 8 months deserves a great review. Fresh vegetables, amazing flavor better then anything I’ve had on mainland. Love their homemade salad dressing and chicken stir fry.. if only Nui’s could become a franchise. Very friendly people & amazing smoothies. Mahalo from New York!
