My overall impression of 1855 was good. I however was made to feel uncomfortable by certain staff.

I ordered a drip coffee and since they don’t serve it to you, you and fill up from a dispenser. The coffee that I pulled was at the end. They replaced the empty with a new pot and I finished filling my cup.

When I sat back down I took a sip and the coffee was warm to lukewarm. I went to the front and asked if they had a microwave so that I could heat it and they said they did not. The staff member making drinks was wonderful and offered me a new cup.

The staff member I originally spoke with took my cup and smirked, walked back to one of her coworkers and had them touch the cup. They both turned around and smiled like “why is this guy complaining, the cup is hot”.

I find it offensive that they would do such a thing to a paying customer. I know there are a number of snowflakes out there that would say I’m being ridiculous but when you’re paying four dollars for a cup of coffee, you should have it any which way you like.

Management, please remind staff that a Customer should be treated with respect, especially when the customer treats the staff...

This is a quaint little coffee house right on the square in McKenzie. Parking is a bit of a struggle because you have to park on either side of the street. If you're not a fan of parallel parking, you might be in a bind. Luckily, I didn't have to go that route, I snagged a spot right at the top of the street. The aesthetic and atmosphere were cute. Very small with only a handful of seating choices, but it wasn't crowded. I think this is more of a grab and go type establishment. They had many unique packaged coffees, pastries, and other items for sale, as well as Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Coffee. Unfortunately, I forgot to purchase a bag on my way out. I stopped in for a quick lunch, and as I am not a major coffee at lunch drinker, I opted for a sweetened ice tea instead. My lunch partner said the iced coffee was delicious. I had a turkey sandwich that was very good and fresh. Will certainly stop back in the next time I am...

This coffee shop is well worth a stop. Its atmosphere is comfortable and not too noisy. Lots a different tables to suit different needs from small gatherings to quiet reading corners. The coffee is fabulous. A nice variety of drinks that meet many different palates. Teas are satisfying as well. Then there is the food! I’ve had their baked goods which are locally made and found them very satisfying. I’ve also had a couple sandwiches which are made fresh right then on locally baked bread. So tasty. There is even a fun little store that has unique gifts from various local artists and businesses. Every time I come to Mazo I try to get there before 3 so I can pop in and support this delightful WI...

This place is great. The service is wonderful, the coffee is good and the food is great. I drive 7 min in the opposite direction of my work to grab a coffee as well as one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a very long time, the classic egg on a everything bagel. IT'S SOOOOO GOOD. They also have local clothing, jewelry, tea, coffee, and candles available for sale too. I truly love this place.

We had an afternoon with nothing going on so we went down to the quaint little town of Mazo. What we found was a nice little Cafe coffee House built into an original main Street Bank from the late 1800's. We were hungry so we all had an entree, I had a Reuben. My wife had a walnut apple strawberry salad and there was one other entree... Just a nice afternoon and a cool little joint. I'll come back.
