China wok inc — Restaurant in McAdoo

Wrote on Hazleton Facebook foodie page asking what best Luzerne County Chinese place is! 30 PLUS people told me to try McAdoo China Wok and said it has the best Chinese food. I went to the drive in on Sunday watched despicable me. Got chicken and broccoli, egg rolls and chicken sticks. O M G. Definitely best egg rolls I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE 11/10!! Chicken and broccoli was good I give like 8/10! And my daughter and her dad ate the chicken sticks my fiancé said they were 8/10 as well. Husband wanted Chinese for birthday dinner. Recommended broccoli was blanched raw mostly. Fried rice was dried out. Steak sticks had NO FLAVOR pineapple chicken was hard couldn't bite it. And no sauce on either meal. And to boot the shrimp toast literally looked like is was soaked in oil with magets and reheated in a microwave. Had I lived closer I would've returned and demanded money return. Absolutely gross 😝. Had I not thrown them immediately out of my house I would've taken pictures seriously believe they were magets never ever had shrimp toast with worms before. And yes raw fish do have some worms for freshness but this was just nasty and mushy for being deep fried....

A very tiny local spot, with enough booths for perhaps 3 groups. Most of the town walks in for some takeout, or drives by on the way down route 309. Very tasty, American-Chinese style fast food. Their sweet & sour chicken is crunchy, general tso’s is sweet and savory, and sesame chicken has a lovely rich flavor. The 4 seasons plate is full of meat and broth- no skimping on the shrimp.
