I went there as I have been doing on and off for 20 years. I ordered the large antipasta and a large pizza. The antipasta comes with hot peppers, onions, olives and meats. I simply asked for the olives and hot peppers to be in the side because some people I was with didn't want them on the salad. I asked for the house dressing of an oil and vinegar. WELL.. didn't you know my bill came and he charged 1.75 for the peppers on the side, 1.25 for the olives on the side and 1.75 for the dressing. The containers were little and the same portion he would have put on the salad. He upcharged 4.75 for what is INCLUDED in his price. YES.. he charged for dressing. I HAVE never seen anyone do that. It was not extra dressing just the one which comes with it. His own waitress appealed to him to waive these crazy upcharges and he refused. He not only refused, he pretended he wasn't the owner and it was 'other people'. So here you go buddy. Your 4.75 dollars in advertising you stole from your customers. I would have gave the money to his waitress but he was exposed as a shenie..cheapskate, bad businessman. I was planning on becoming regular again and going a few times a week. SO AGAIN... 4.75 cost you thousands and hopefully every like this post gets costs you another customer. Spend your 4.75 well, cheapskate liar. GO ASK THE 'other people' who made you cheap what to do now. I know your sponsors well and they will also hear about your decision-making skills...
Read moreWow, just wow. I'm new to the area and was on my way home from a long day and was just in the mood for a good pizza shop pie. Walked in around 2130 (half hour vefore closing), i was greates with a very nice and warm welcome (other shops have had an attitude coming in that close to closing, not these folks!). Again, first time ever here, so i got a little bit of everything. Mini steak boli, grandma's pie ("old world pizza" where I'm from), plain cheese pie and cheese steak pit. Got blue cheese and ranch for dipping. Blue cheese is Ken's RESTRAUNT blue cheese (highest quality BC out there) not sure what ranch was, but it wasn't bad. Certainly no homemade buttermilk ranch, but still good.
When I say this is by far the best quality and tasting food I've had up here (north east PA, been here for 1.5 years now), it is far and away the best pizza shop food I've had in almost 2 years. I cant say enough good things about this place and will be back soon! Tha knyou again tomorrow the hospitality, even later in the evening when getting...
Read moreMy husband and I were on our way home to Hazleton yesterday and we were both hungry, so we took the exit for Macadoo and stopped at Via Nuova. I'm so glad we did because we enjoyed the best meal we've had out in a long time. I had a bowl of chicken tortellini soup with fresh hot bread and a veal parm sub. They use real veal cutlet which made it out of this world delicious. The soup was delicious, the fresh bread and fresh hoagie rolls were just the best. My husband had a slice with ham and veggies and a cheese steak with everything and he also enjoyed every bite. We are already planning our next trip there for an authentic Italian meal. And my ice cold blue moon and my husband's IPA were the icing on the cake. It was our first time going there but it most certainly won't be the last. The owner and staff are friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful as well. And it's the most affordable place we've been in a...
