Subway — Restaurant in McDonald

I visit this location a few times a month and service is good and staff friendly. Restaurant always looks neat and clean. A few months back due to staffing they were closing earlier than posted hours. For me it wasn't a big deal as I live close. My only issue on my last few visits have been the lack of product (meat or tuna) being placed on the sandwich. This was never a problem in the past as they made the sub with a generous amount of meat or tuna. It seems to be a lot of bread and veggies now. I find myself adding extra when I get home (defeats the purpose of ordering out ) to make it a better sub. It may be due to the same person working on these visits but was never a issue before. I may make the drive to the Imperial location as I have gotten good, generously made subs...

The staff are always friendly. Most of the employees will even put a little bit extra of the vegetables on if you just ask. It doesn't ever seem to be packed, so there isn't too much of a wait. I've been to some subways where they just skimp out on the ingredients and the staff are rude, but luckily I have this subway close to my home now. Recently they got new menus, they are the same, just reformatted and the black sleek design makes it easier to read. One time we went to get subs for the family and the lady wouldn't let us get six subs because 'it was a catering order'. She gave up and just made the subs telling us in the future we can't do that. Called the store and the manager told us that is not their policy and she'd talk to the lady. It hasn't...

At this particular location for being way understaffed, I have to say I'm VERY impressed by the manager running it now. For being the ONLY one literally working, he keeps the place exceptionally clean, tables floors, bathrooms and food prep station as well. And not only that, he greeted us with a smile, welcoming attitude, didn't show how stressed and exhausted he was and gave the best service I've had in a very long time. I wish I knew your name bud, you deserve the recognition and respect that you so effortlessly earned. Keep up the hard work, I promise it'll pay off!! Give this man...
