Do not go here! The service is awful. I went in on Easter morning and there was no other customers in the stores when I arrived. Maybe 3 cars in the drive thru. I ordered a latte, macchiato and a dozen donuts. The cashier who took my order was great. My only complaint is that she didn’t give me my receipt which little did I know would be important later. She got my donuts and told me my coffees would be done in just a minute. Awesome! I went to go wait for coffee and I noticed there was a build up of watered down old coffees that had not been picked up sitting all around the counter. That’s probably because the people making the coffees were not calling out orders as they finished them. Or they just didn’t clear off old coffees, I’m not sure which. I waited about 5 minutes before which time I saw what looked like my coffees get put on the drive thru counter. At that point one employee walked up to the manager and informed him that there were some people up front waiting for coffee. He paid no regard and walked away. I waited another 5 minutes at which point a gentleman who ordered after me got his donuts and coffee immediately. At that point I walked up to ask where my coffee was and how long I had been waiting. They asked me what I ordered and I told them but couldn’t remember if I got a medium or a large(would’ve know for sure if I had the receipt) but I told them the exact order otherwise. They decided to play this back and forth game with me about the size of the coffee until they found my latte(it was a large). I asked them where my macchiato was then and pointed to the one that had been sitting there for about 10 minutes at this point. They told me that was a large. I told them well so is the latte. It was at this point the manager, Kevin, grabbed the macchiato off the drive they counter and slammed it down on the counter and walked away without saying anything. I asked the employee closest how long these had been sitting out. She tried to tell me they just made them when I know damn well I had seen them sitting on the drive thru counter for 10 minutes. I am completely dumbfounded at this service. Or lack thereof. But I’m not finished yet. I peered around the counter at Kevin and asked if he was the manager and got no response. I asked again and without turning around from what he was doing he said yes. I asked him if he just didn’t want to deal with this situation. He replied with he had 2 new employees and 3 people call out of work. I have been in the restaurant industry personally for the past 8 years and am more than understanding about slower service due to a myriad of factors. But the lack of regard and overall respect for your customers was absolutely not present at this location. Kevin said that all he had to offer was his apologies. Did not offer to even remake my now watered down coffees which I would e accepted as a solution happily. I was not looking for a handout but I expect my food and drink to be fresh. When I have an issue with any of my customers I immediately offer options on how to remedy the situation. Kevin didn’t give a single fck. As I was leaving Kevin condescendingly said have a happy Easter ma’am and I told him same to you ahole and that he was a sht manager. I went back in to get the corporate number and Kevin’s name because I didn’t not have it at that point. When I walked back up to the counter to ask one employee yelled “is she serious?” With the nastiest tone and attitude. I told her I was and asked for her name which she refused to provide. I told her that was fine she didn’t have to tell me but I am still allowed to ask. She replied with “you better not ask!” By then I just rolled my eyes, thanked Kevin for the corporate number and left. I am floored by the lack of customer service I was shown at this DD. It wasn’t about how long it took, the principle is that they were wrong and instead of trying to remedy the situation they decided to play games and be rude. I am never going back and I’m sure these employees are happy for it, but I urge corporate to check up...
Read moreThis place is not clean. The food is ill prepared. Donuts are thrown in the bags. Trays aren't properly cleaned. Employees never wash hands but change gloves without sanitizing. Needless to say, they are rude, never friendly, and the manager will tell you it's your fault if you complain about the.food. I only hope that the attitudes of the employees and the cleanliness of this place improve. Cause right now, I wouldn't trust a dog to eat here. I had ordered half dozen of donuts and two large iced coffees; and when I got home, I didn't realize the one jelly, donut was burnt and cracked open underneath. I called and asked what happened, and the manager told me Im was lying as if there was no way one was burnt out of others cooked. I couldn't believe she was disputing my word. I thought to myself well things happen. I am.an honest consumer and she is 🤙 mg me a liat. Im not making this up. Next thing I know she said don't cuss at me, and I said Ma'am I never cussed at you. That was the end of my conversation, and I decided to escalate it. I decided to make the public aware, file a complaint with the corporate office, and file a complaint at the health department. I pray beware of entering and buying from here. This store is located in McKeesport PA. The manager does not implement sanitary practices, and may exemplify mental health issues and unprofessionalism. Make sure you watch their practice of food service when ordering and check your donuts underneath.
Best Wishes...
Read moreNormally this business is okay. Some of the employees do need to pay attention a little more when it comes to orders but I would say the people they have working here are okay. Just recently though, I stopped here around 10:30PM to go through the drive thru and surprise surprise they were closed. I've been to this Dunkin on several occasions even on Sunday nights and the business was open because their sign clearly states they close at 12PM. Now I understand situations happen were a business has to close unexpectedly but it would have been nice to have some kind of notice on the door/drive thru. Even if they've started closing early on Sundays they need to update their information on the website and on their business hours sign. Normally this wouldn't bother me but because I work nights and on this particular night I was in a hurry before work this was a bit of an inconvenience. If this particular Dunkin is closing earlier on Sundays, update the information so other customers don't run into...
