Beau Pre Cafe — Restaurant in McKinleyville

Traveling up from the bay area to Oregon and decided to stop here for something to eat. Mostly chose this spot because of the picture of french toast. This isn't a place of variety and french toast wasn't an option. I ordered the pancakes instead, they were so so. However, it was pretty inexpensive and hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. We went here because we asked Google for the best breakfast place in McKinleyville and this popped right up. We weren't sure how to find it because it is located at the golf club. We were greeted with happy upbeat friendly staff and another customer. We ordered from both the breakfast and lunch menus and the food was fantastic! This place is classic. Simple l8ttle clubhouse with a kitchen. A few folks hanging out on a rainy day waiting for the tournament participants to start coming off the course. A couple of guys sitting at the counter talking local gossip. A super friendly and accommodating young man greeting and taking orders. A good breakfast cook who got my omelet just right!
