Deep South — Restaurant in McLeansboro

Is a quaint little rustic restaurant, had never been here before. I ordered the pulled pork basket, you get fries or potato salad, I chose fries, the fries were very good, they were seasoned, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them, they were perfect. The pulled pork was very good, had a good smoky flavor. Had a good helping of pork, for a sandwich. They put barbecue sauce on the sandwich for you, so if you don't want barbecue sauce you need to tell them. My wife ordered a salad of some kind, I'm sorry, I don't remember what it was, but it was big and she thoroughly enjoyed the salad. It was crisp and fresh and had ham, turkey, chicken,very good. She ordered Chipotle dressing, gave it a little kick. The waiterses were friendly and helpful. Came very close to giving them 5 stars, but it's very hard to get 5...

We drove from Evansville to eat AYCE crablegs. My wife and I ordered the all you can eat and our daughter wanted to try the all you can eat as well. She ate 2 legs off of her cluster and didn't like them. So we ordered her shrimp instead. We figured maybe they would just charge for the shrimp and her 2 sides. They charged us the full price for all 3 AYCE orders plus 8.00 for her shrimp. The waitress said her boss told her he she couldn't take a charge off. Now as a manager I would think they could at least come out and talk to us about it instead of sending the poor waitress out to do it. So needless to say that left a bad taste in our mouth and we probably won't make the drive to come back. Our waitress was amazing and the food was great, we even ordered our daughter dessert. I am just a little disappointed in the customer service...

Wonderful food!!! Fantastic service! Newly opened but feels like its been there forever! Beautiful interior and easy for wheelchair etc. No steps. Haven't had a single thing we don't love!!! Fave buffalo pizza!!! +++Update 12/29/2016 We have been back about Once every week! We love this place- regarding someone else's comment. I would Ignore- Everything is BRAND NEW! If her jeans ripped its not the booths fault- They are handmade and are varnished super soft and smooth! We have yet to have something we don't love! Even order a last minute - (made order on Christmas eve) Christmas Day - Smoked Turkey! Picked up in the morning on Christmas! WAS PERFECT!!! Husband loves the 2 for 20 rubs/chicken side- on Sat. and all you can eat fish on Friday for only 12$ SERIOUSLY PEOPLE ITS...
