Hardee's — Restaurant in Mebane

Edited Oct 2025 I should have done this sooner Because After my last post where the shift manager just said well since we can't get the food right for you we're not going to serve you anymore I got in touch with the general manager and the district and they corrected everything. The same woman is not leading shifts they're no longer closing drive-thru down just because they don't want to man it and they're no longer closing breakfast down 30 minutes early every order I've gotten since I talked to the district manager has been correct it's been hot and again I haven't had to go in because drive-through was closed it's just been a complete difference I'm really impressed at how this heart is listened to the feedback they were getting Now it's just as good as any of the other Hardee's out there. Now their prices are still higher because it's owned by loves and apparently they're able to charge differently but the service the food everything is exactly how it should be now. It's nice to actually call in and have people listen to you

Edited June 2025 The Hardee's at Love's truck stop charges way more than any other standalone Hardee's their service is subpar. Also there's a Hardee's only two or three exits up from there so don't bother stopping at love.

I was there this morning 20 minutes before breakfast is over they kept telling people they're out of gravy so when I got up to the line I'm like I know you're not out of gravy She's like yeah we're just not going to make anymore so it's not wasted. I said it's a pack of powder mix and water I used to work here, I said I've already seen three people that wanted sides of gravy or dishes that came with gravy either leave or not get the gravy which means you have lost more money than what it would have cost you if you even had to throw half of it out 🤦🏻‍♀️ Most Hardee's have breakfast until 12:00 now They don't even go into 11:00 on weekends It's 10:30 The drive-thru is shut down half the time not because they don't have enough people they just want you to come inside. Avoid this Hardee's. Love truck stop is the owner which is why he can do his prices the way he does It's not as if the man's not making enough money or the company And as usual when I got my order there was food missing which they did correct but it's the same old song and dance I thought they would get better after being there a while but...

Very disgusted customer! I attempted to order 2 of the sourdough sandwich meals and simply wanted to substitute the beef for grilled chicken due to the fact that we do not eat beef. The cashier 1st said they were out of charbroiled grilled chicken so I asked about the bbq chicken which she said it wasnt prepped so fried chicken was the only option for us. I repeated multiple times that I wanted the sandwiches made EXACTLY the way it comes EXCEPT USE CHICKEN NOT BEEF. They could not seem to understand and still made the sandwiches wrong even after I specifically confirmed how the sourdough sandwich is made. I also requested fresh/hot fries and was told they just came out which was a lie. The fries were absolutely not fresh. We got back to the truck and checked the bag to find all the issues. We have called the restaurant multiple times but no answer. I even tried to do the survey on the back of the receipt and it showed unable to proceed with the survey. This has been beyond frustrating. Went here with the wife and mom for dinner and decided to try this Hardee's since my usual Hardee's is an older location. This Hardee's dining room was very clean along with the bathrooms. My mom ordered a burger combo and the fries came out luke warm at best and I ordered a ½ pound thick burger and I wound up getting a ⅓ pound thick burger and so I looked at the receipt at I realized the guy ringing up orders got my order wrong. But my burger came out hot and after hearing many nightmarish stories throughout the years I never send my food back unless I plan on getting money back so I just ate my sandwich and I enjoyed it. I would return here but not unless the employee's here and management were completely changed. The negative reviews of this restaurant are warranted so please beware of this before you go here because you most likely will have a bad experience somewhere with your order. I DON'T RECOMMEND this location at all and avoid this Hardee's if possible.
