Steel String Brewery at Pluck Farm — Restaurant in Mebane

This is my new favorite brewery in North Carolina. We needed a place like this one close to Carrboro and Chapel Hill. I love Steel String beers, I go to the Carrboro one all the time. This one is a totally different experience: a large outdoor space surrounded by beautiful trees. You can order a beer, hang out and even picnic in one of their multiple tables, they also have food trucks, you can bring your doggies and they'll love it. Such a fan! Really solid craft beer for roughly $6-$8, depending what you order. Personally, I’m a fan of their Chocolate Cake beer, French Toast beer, and Hazy IPAs. My wife likes the raspberry wheat ale a great deal. Something for every taste!

They also have a great outside space that’s perfect for hanging out. Lots of fireplaces and heaters in the winter time. Plus, following Xmas, they have a bonfire where they burn trees. Again, lots of fun and the staff are kind and helpful....

Very unique spot! My friends and I like the events like the movies on the farm and the Friday night bonfires during the cooler months. I so wish they had more live mysic things and drink options but I'm kinda picky on my drinks so its not so much them as it is me. I will say, one time we went for the fires they weren't really lit and we asked and they mentioned not a lot of folks were there that evening. They did end up lighting more for us though which...
