Mecca Tavern — Restaurant in Mecca

If you’re into dive bar vibes, Mecca Tavern definitely fits the bill. I was a little concerned at first—especially after noticing the spray foam used around the base of the walls (you can see it in the photo). Service was okay, but don’t expect any frills. I tried to order a Moscow mule or a Coke & amaretto and got some serious side-eye from the waitress, so I ended up just getting a Diet Coke.

Now for the good part: the breaded tenderloin. It’s the main reason we came, and it absolutely delivered—meaty, juicy, and huge! We split it into four sandwiches, and everyone was happy. Fries were just average, but that tenderloin makes it...

Recently moved to the area. Needing a pork tenderloin sandwich. Everyone pointed me to the Mecca Tavern.

I was NOT disappointed.

The tenderloin was 5 times the size of the bun and tender as a baby's bottom.

With a large draft I was out the door for under $20.00.

Don't support a bar and grill that won't allow 20 year old 's to eat there in tye afternoon. Poorly staffed when big groups come in the staff is irritated. Will not ever recommend that place or support that place in any way.Owner will realize how much money he is loosing...
