MIXX 165 — Restaurant in Mechanicsburg

As soon as we arrived to this establishment, I thought we was at a radio station. We get out of the car and proceed to walk inside. Once inside my husband and I greeted with the wonderful aroma of their meatloaf. Because it smelled so good, I decided to get it. Our waitress, who by the way was on top of everything, said to me, "I think we have one serving left. I will go check for you when I put the order in." Not 2 min later she came back with "you get the last piece". I was so excited. Never thought I would be over meatloaf. Folks, it was AMAZING!!!!! Just look at the photos below. Everything went so well together. It starts with the bottom layer being Texas toast, followed by a thick slice of meatloaf cover in the sauce, then topped with a wonderful portion and best homemade mashed potatoes topped with more sauce the topped with a fresh french fried onion. We stopped by MIXX 165 tonight to enjoy some delicious food and support the Mechanicsburg Wrestling program through their "Good Eats! Good Food for a Good Cause" initiative, with 15% of all food and beverage sales being donated to the Mechanicsburg Wrestling program. Awesome! Our waitress, Makenna, did a fantastic job tonight. Attentive, very pleasant, and was helpful when inquiring about gift cards. We tried several items off their appetizer menu as it was Half Off Apps for Tuesday. I have never, ever had an appetizer more enjoyable than I did this evening. To complement my entrée, I went with the Holla-Peno Pops. OMG! You have to get these next time you visit! Six Fresh Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and bacon on top. What makes these so good is the fresh "crunchy" texture of the jalapeno. So often the true identity of the jalapeno in poppers evaporates in the deep-frying basket as they are being cooked, not here. This is a great, local venue! Great place to visit. I recommend attending as a group. They were able to accommodate our entire group. We had a great time in fellowship. The significance of fellowship in today's digital economy is more important than ever. Let's do ourselves a favor and not take each other for granted. Life is too short and there is too much left undone. My wife and I were blessed enough to travel the entire continental United States for over a year. We made money as it was our small business that had us traveling but more importantly, we created life long memories to be revisited and shared for many generations to come. My advice, embrace these times and pass them along to your children, grand children, and other family.
