Simple Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Mechanicsburg

My fiancée and I just moved to the area and were looking for a nice place to get coffee and a bite to eat. Simple Comforts meets all expectations and more. Their coffee is absolutely delicious, and they have a wide variety of flavors and ways to take your coffee, including non-dairy options. We each had a grilled sandwich for lunch which were both amazing. They also have a variety of sweets from their bakery. On top of it all, they are very kind, friendly people who make you feel as if you’re at home, even on the first visit. The building itself is gorgeous - built in the mid-1800s with large windows giving tons of natural light. The building was also part of the Underground Railroad and was a hotel in its early days! There are also lots of locally made products like clothing, toys, and home decor available for sale. All in all our experience was an 11/10 and we plan on frequenting this place as much...

Even though they didn't have anything gluten free, the people were so kind. Since we were new to their place, if we had questions, they explained things to us patiently. It was an old building on a corner with such charm. They not only sold food and drink, but had beautiful crafts for sale as well. We came in there kind of stressed out (car broke down!). The people and the peaceful atmosphere put us at ease quickly. It was easy to tell that this was a Christian-run business (crafts leaned well this way as well as the gentle praise music in the background).
