Corner CafĂ© is a true small-town treasure and easily one of the best places to eat in Stanwood. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can tell right away that this is a spot locals love. Itâs clean, comfortable, and has that classic diner feel where you know youâre going to get a good meal.
The breakfasts here are absolutely fantastic. From fluffy pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs to hearty omelets and crispy bacon, everything tastes homemade and is served hot and fresh. The portions are generous, and the food has that comforting, âmade with careâ quality that makes breakfast here something to look forward to.
And then there are the hamburgers â juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. Theyâre not just good for a small-town cafĂ©; theyâre genuinely some of the best burgers around. Pair one with their fries, and youâve got a meal worth making a special trip for.
The service is another highlight. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to make you feel at home. Even when the café is busy, you never feel forgotten.
If youâre looking for a place that serves up delicious breakfasts, outstanding burgers, and true small-town hospitality, Corner CafĂ© should be at the top of your list. Itâs the kind of place you visit once and immediately plan to...
Read moreThis is a hidden gem!! You could drive past this place day after day and never even know it's there, as it is small and unassuming, but you would be missing out on some excellent food and great service! The wife and I had seen the signs directing travelers where to go and decided to finally check the place out. We were not disappointed. Even when quite busy, the older waitress had a great - even fun-loving - attitude as she joked around with us playfully, while tempering her stress for our sake. The restaurant features changing daily specials and a variety of house-made desserts. Having enjoyed our first encounter, we came the next time with the kids. The children's menu offered several standard kid fare items, but also included two side items. The wet burrito - my usual standard for judging food quality in a restaurant - was absolutely delicious! Just the right mix of meat, bean and veggies. The sauce was very good and it was smothered in melted cheese. As it was the size of a small pillow, it was too much for this big guy to take down in one sitting, but made an excellent reheat. I highly recommend the Corner Cafe. Do like the locals do: come in, have a seat and relax. Soon you will be having a few laughs and...
Read moreWorst breakfast experience weâve had in as long as we can remember. The service we received was extremely poor, though the rest of the âregularsâ seemed to be served just fine. Two tables of people were greeted and given coffee before we were acknowledged, though we arrived before them. Took us 15 minutes to get our coffee after ordering it. Our eggs, toast, and pancakes took 40 minutes to be given to us, and the orders arrived cold and incorrect. Half of my meal was brought out on my husbands plate, items from our meal were missing, and eggs were not cooked to order. The only reason we didnât walk out is that we were starving after being there an hour. Though the waitress was kind, she did not provide us the same level of service as the rest of the guests. Additionally we paid for our $13 meal with a $20 bill and she gave us $19.25 back in change. We had to figure out the error simply to pay them correctly. Iâm sure if people are local or regulars, they have a fine experience. However, if you are visiting from out of town, I would personally not risk eating here. Atmosphere was lacking, as...
