Jilly's Coffee & Cakes — Restaurant in Mediapolis

Anytime I'm visiting southeast Iowa, a stop at Jilly's is a must! It's such a cute coffee shop with a super chill vibe. It's warm and welcoming and very clean. Jilly's is a great place to meet up with a couple friends for lunch, or just to hang out by yourself with your favorite drink. The staff is always super friendly and extra helpful, especially when you're not exactly sure what you're wanting. I've yet to be disappointed with one of their suggestions. I appreciate that every time I come back (every 3 months or so) there's something new for me to try, whether it's a drink or a sweet treat. But, if I'm not feeling adventurous, I can still get my tried and true. Jilly's is definitely my favorite coffee shop...

This is a cute little coffee shop! I didn't have time to sit or look at the baked-goods but they have quite a bit of candy that any kid would light up. The atmosphere isn't SUPER cozy but it would be a good place to study or meet up with a friend. As far the coffee, I got a Lavender/ Vanilla latte and couldn't taste any lavender in it. I was a little sad, but I know it's rare to find a good Lavender latte. It was also pipping hot when I got it, but it was fine to drink after 20 min. I will come back and try other things soon! I love that they're open longer than a lot of coffee shops...

My daughter and I stopped here to check it out and try a nice cold drink. She got the peanut butter frap, I had a drink and it was delicious. I said I wanted something not too sweet and they definitely did me right by the brown sugar latte and I had oat milk, it was absolutely perfect in every way!
