Medical Lake Pizza Factory is not worth the headache. I have ordered delivery 5 times from them but 3 of those orders were wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, but 3 of 5 is a bit much. On this last order I called shorty after delivery (maybe a few minutes) and let them know one part of my order (small cheesy stix) was missing. The lady said there was no way it was missing I literally just put it in the bag. So, I read out all the items I received and then she put me on hold. Then another person (maybe a manager) came on and she asked me what the issue was. I again explained the exact same thing. She said I was lying, that she personally had put the order in the bag. Talk about some of the most unprofessional people I have every dealt with. Why would I lie about cheesy stix on a $85 dollar order. They ended up saying they were going to make a new order. Driver showed up 2 minutes after my call. Turns out he forgot to deliver them as they sat in another bag. Maybe check with your deliverer before accusing paying customers about lying.
I support local and will always but this place not worth it. Check out Rosaās in Cheney (doesnāt deliver to ML but better local option) or Dominoes (delivery pinch). You are better off putting money in local businesses that care about their service. I would rather put $85 in at Jake's, El Ixtapa, and Lefevre St. Bakery & Cafe.
Update: Response from "Owner" (8/5/2020) in case it's deleted listed below. Again not worth the headache. Put your money in a place that operates from integrity and owns when they make a mistake. The "owner" wasn't even willing to listen to me.
"Sir sorry to hear about your experience. When you call to let us know it doesn't help when you yell and curse. Obviously the driver made a simple mistake the people at the store did their part. Noone called you a liar the only unprofessional attitude was yours. We have noted your rude behavior and would rather have you patronize other establishments. Your attitude won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe WORST management situation tonight with Shannon! Dalton(?) answered my call to begin with. I explained that I had two coupons I wanted to use. He politely asked me to hold while he checked if it was ok and explained that he was new and apologized. He talks to someone in the background and then tells me that only one coupon per transaction could be used so we would have to do two transactions and let me know that it would cost me two different delivery fees. I accepted that and asked to go ahead with my order. He proceeded but I guess needed help so he puts someone else on the phone. This guy(Shannon) gets on the call and rudely asks what is going on. So I try to explain the two coupons and the two different orders (that was the process I was told I had to do) but before I could finish, he cuts me off and angrily says heās not going to split my order just because I want to use two coupons! Uhhhhhh WHAT! So I calmly say āok thatās ok.ā He asks if I still want my order. Verbatim, I say āno, thatās ok.ā Again, he rudely/aggressively asks āso do you want your order or not?!ā AGAIN, I say āno I donāt. Thank you.ā And hang up the phone. I couldnāt accept that service from a place we used to order from all the time. I felt the manager had to be informed. So I call back and Dalton answers. I ask to speak to the manager. And what do ya know. SHANNON IS THE MANAGER! So I ask if he was the person I just spoke to. He says yes. I ask if he is the manager. He says yes. I let him know just how rude he was. He stayed quiet while I spoke. Unfortunately I felt he could care less about what was being said to him. So after I said what I needed to, I just hung up. I will never be ordering from pizza factory ever again. Not because the food isnāt good, but because I can never trust that my experience or my food in particular will be āsafeā under...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePizza Factory is a corporate entity with locations all over the Western US. Yet, they aren't invasive up here like other pizza joints.
(sorry, no photos)
The order: 1x 24 Chicken Wings (boneless; garlic parmesan) 1x 10 Chicken Wings (bone in; BBQ) 1x Pizza (pepperoni/pineapple: LG) 1x Pizza (western bbq: LG) 1x Pizza (bbq chicken: LG) 1x Spaghetti (baked) 1x Garlic Bread
Pros: -Handmade -Feels like a local ma & pa business -Food consistently excellent
Cons -Pricing. (However, it seems typical for a gourmet spot like this)
The Babble We've ordered a few times and have never been disappointed. The only issues, at times, seems to be the semi-dizty front end. Unlike other restaurants, the quality is consistent. Their food doesn't feel like it's thrown together. Have yet to encounter a burned or over baked pizza. Their pizzas definitely don't look or taste like a frozen pizza (which we've run into before and that is just weird).
Conclusion What makes a place good, great, and/or terrific? I mean, other than food and service (and maybe cleanliness, parking, wait times, etc)? The fact you want to go back. This Pizza Factory is a place that one will want to order from again. To the point, that it could be their weekly and only pizza place...
