Went to Costco today and picked up a Tortuga Kentucky Bourbon Butter Cake. First off, let me say this: I havenβt drank alcohol in over 13 years... but this Kentucky Bourbon Cake is so delicious I might just fall off the wagon (In a sense) and buy like 5 or 6 more. It was AMAZING!!! The plastic packaging it comes in seals in freshness making it EXTRA moist. Each bite I took elevated me to a new level of nirvana I didnβt know existed. Monks and priests should study this stuff, I tell you. As for the alcohol content, thereβs less than half of 1%. However, you still get that alcohol flavor which gives you a quick snippet of your High School days. Oh the memories.... As for the flavor, it punches you in the face with a slow dance of complementary spices that soothe the palette. It grabs you, yet leads you by the hand.. oh so gently.

Very friendly and helpful. Small area to display their products and the guy had to get my cakes from the back. Very happy for the pleasant experience which could easily gone the other way and driving away...

These cakes are tasty and have great flavors. The only issue is they always have a processed-packaged cake flavor. I wish they would taste a bit more homemade.
