Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Melbourne

First of all the carhop waitress was very slow with my order. Granted it was around 3:45 pm when I stopped in for two milkshakes. It took at least ten minutes for the carhop chick to even make her way towards my vehicle with shakes in hand. She got intercepted by another sonic customer about their messed up order. So she takes theirs and my order's back to the main station! Then she takes another seven minutes to actually return my original order half melted and one of the cups had a hole already through the bottom of the cup! What is the problem with some carhop attendants being unable to multitask efficiently! I know it's the rush of the day and everyone's getting off work & outta school, but damn there's some things a person can tolerate and some things (like today's "little incident") that is just ridiculous and shouldn't be tolerated! I pulled in to a stall that apparently had a non-working screen but I pushed the button anyway. Just as I was backing out, I heard someone on the speaker so I pulled back in. I gave her my order but the speaker was going in and out so I couldn't tell if she heard me. I waited quite some time but no one ever brought my order. The girl at the drive through window checked and said they did not receive the order but she got what I ordered very quickly. She was very helpful. The food is good, but the service is unacceptable. The carhop did a nice job, but the manager is completely incompetent. She chewed me out for having a certain number of orders ( which I made sure to tell her beforehand so they could be ready). She blamed me for that, then acted as if I should know the hardship it put on their ringing up the order! Last I knew, I was the customer, not the worker! This is the fourth time we have been here, and we have experienced problems each time. We will not be back to this particular Sonic again. The others are just fine.
