How haven’t I found this place sooner!? A little authentic Mexican food truck in the parking lot of Thrifty produce. (The one on croton, not wickham)

I was wanting Asada tacos… maybe a quesadilla… maybe Birria or cow tongue tacos . I got them ALL here!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They spoke English and Spanish so perfectly (I’ve been a few times and spoke with multiple employees and the ease of ordering is wonderful) The tacos are just wonderful and so affordable. Between $2.50 to $3.00 a taco depending on the kind you want. Simple and classic. Corn tortilla, your choice of protein, raw onion and cilantro with a side of red or green salsa (I love the salsa verde! The spice level is just perfect for me) I added queso to my tacos which is my personal preference on just about everything. They even had Birria quesadillas which was so unique and absolutely delicious! As it does not come with the consume dip I asked for some, with a small up charge.

The sauce itself was a tad bland and very watery. I much prefer a thicker and more flavorful consume but just to have the option was delightful and exciting!

There are so many options here and if you care to stay and eat there, there are a few picnic tables to eat at… I typically get it to go as summers in Florida are just too much even with their accommodating outdoor...

Everyone needs to understand how good this family is, not just the food. Yet, how humble and loving they are, They have moved just West not even a quarter mile down from the old location. The new owner of Thrifty's kicked them off the property, adding her friend in that spot. They were the only reason business was booming in that parking lot. So do not go to the new truck that is at Thrifty's. I will not even shop at that place because how mean and grimy she was to this hard working family. I'm so happy they were able to move just a lil west on the same side of the street, right before Domino's Pizza. I love that they still have business booming and were able to kindly rebuild even bigger and better now. God Bless this family! The best food variety. My fav will always be a Torta and...
