American Deli — Restaurant in Memphis

In my opinion this American Deli does not uphold the taste we have grown to love from the chain not sure how a sub could taste different but they added extra toppings (banana peppers) I didn’t know I need to remove as it is not served in the other locations nor specified on menu. This location menu actually includes a combo with no fries what is the point of this nonsense? When I ordered I specified I wanted seasoned fries. When I got my order and asked the employee where was my fries I was told I was supposed to ask for fries with the combo which I did but they chose to ring up what they wanted. Needless to say this experience changed my excitement for the chain being closer to home, I will stick to driving to a further location I’m familiar with. In recap I give 3 stars for food as it wasn’t inedible just not the taste I’ve grown accustomed to. I would give 0 stars for service if it was possible because it’s too much to ask for the person taking your order to listen and ring up your order as asked. I recently discovered that an American Deli opened in our neighborhood about a month ago, and I decided to give it a try for dinner tonight. The food was absolutely delicious! Until now, the only fast-food option nearby was McDonald’s, so I’m really glad we finally have a place to get some great wings.

The wings were incredibly fresh. It took me about 10 minutes to get home after picking up my order, and they were still hot and full of flavor when I opened the box. The customer service was excellent, and although the drive-thru line was a bit long, it moved quickly.

Compared to other wing places where a 10-piece combo with fries and a drink can easily cost over $20, American Deli offers fair and reasonable prices. I ordered the Honey Gold flavor, and it was unforgettable. Perfectly balanced and flavorful.

Food Was Disgusting!! My boneless wings were extremely hard that they would break my dog's teeth!! First time there and NEVER going back!!
