Buffet Mexicano "Tacos Borolas" — Restaurant in Memphis

This place looks bad on the outside but the food is good. The parking lot is filled with pot holes and there are no lines for the parking spots.

The inside is a grocery store that feels like a freezer. The staff are not very attentive. They probably did not have many dine-in customers during the pandemic and they have not transitioned to serving people. The wait for our food was over 30 minutes even though we were the only people in the place.

The food tasted great. I ordered a steak quesadilla and chicken taco. We were not given chips and salsa but I was not bothered by that. Both items were filled with meat and seasoned to perfection.

The first room we had was dirty and had a smell that made my wife sick. We got a second room and the toilet would not flush. We got a third room and it had the same smell as the first room. I asked for a refund so we could go to another Choice Hotel and was told I could not get a refund. The 4th room was off a quality that a Dimond member should be in and the receptionist should have assigned this to us in the first place. I respectfully made two attempts to experience the food here. I initially tried to place a call-in order. The person who answered apparently spoke no English because besides "food" they understood nothing else I said. My second attempt was going there in person to no avail. No one inside who appeared to work there acknowledged my presence nor seemed to speak English. They only looked at me like I was an alien from another planet.
