I could tell a lot of work went into the spaghetti sauce. It wasn't to my taste, but that's no fault of the restaurant. Most people would enjoy it immensely. Lots of garlic. If you live by the truism "there's no such thing as too much garlic" then this is the place for you. You'll love the sauce. I wish I did too, I just don't like garlic. The portion sizes are huge, bring an appetite. We could have ordered 2 adult meals and fed all 4 of us. The kids portions were more than I could eat, especially with the included garlic bread. Minus 1 star because the noodles were super over cooked. I was surprised how bad they were and I don't think it was just a personal taste issue. I'm not usually fussy about noodles. And the milk wasn't very fresh, my kids wouldn't drink it. Minus 2 stars for the lack of cleanliness. The eating areas were alright, but the back rooms and bathrooms desperately need work. The women's toilet rocks badly, and the bathroom smells like the toilet is leaking around the base. Based on the build up around the sink I can see that cleanliness is not a priority. I wasn't impressed with the glimpses of the food storage or kitchens that I could see on the way back. I gave one star back because the waitress was so nice and patient with my children. She made it a...

This is not where you go for Italian Cuisine. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. I had to ask for a bowl to remove all the water, which happened because the noodles weren't drained before putting them into the bowl. The manager or chef, walked by and said, that's too watery. I sat at the table with the waitress and drained my spaghetti into a bowl. So, he was aware. He didnt apologize, nothing!!!! As if the sauce was too watery. No, the sauce was thick. However, the sauce wasn't good either. I always try a restaurant proclaiming a certain cuisine as their specialty with what they should be SUPERIOR with. So, they proclaim Italian, I'm gonna try your sauce...I got spaghetti and meatballs. Never again!! I was gonna order some other food, like the mufaletta. Nope! I just paid and left. Also, they offer Turkey n dressing, etc. ???????? I think they should remove the whole Italian theme and just be a restaurant that offers all types of food. When you say "ITALIAN ". People are looking for just that. The focus in the restaurant is "ITALIAN ". Fresh breads, delicious tomato sauces, TASTY and tender meatballs,...

The city of Memphis is a city that receives and EARNS a lot of criticism and disdain nationwide. It is indeed a city on the fast track of despair and decline. I only mention this because within the four walls of corruption, crime and poor leadership, there are still some real GEMS! There are still some very fine people just trying to survive. One such place, is Dino's Grill!

This eating establishment has been around a long time and has earned its spot as a landmark and a must stop amongst your travels throughout the city. The regulars know where to go when they want some fantastic food and Dino's always delivers.

You will receive good service, a good atmosphere and even better yet; great food.

Their sauce is great and their meatballs and Muffulettas are fantastico! Honestly,...you will like everything they bring out to you! The onion rings are great too.

So,..if you find yourself stuck in Memphis and you have the time, go to Dino's and they will turn your frown upside down! There are still some great people here and some equally great places. You just have to dig deep...

This place is phenomenal. Best lil whole in the wall, unknown gem in the city! Everything we had was made from scratch old school Italian recipes. Even the home made Italian dressing with chunky whole minced garlic celery onions and olives made my day! The garlic butter sauce lacked a bit of pizazz but our wonderful server John helped me out with some parmesan pesto sauce that did the trick. The chix parm was a full filet of chic battered with the family sauce recipe. The chix alfredo classic delicious. John's knowledge of the history of the diner and the food was second to none. He attended our every need and made our experience exceptional. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience while out dining with my family.

The best tiramisu in Memphis! Old-school diner with the coziest, homey atmosphere and friendly service. The food is classic Italian-American in the South. Think Texas toast garlic bread and an uncanny prevalence of white American cheese. But that’s part of the allure of Dino’s—where else will you find this alongside homemade chicken and spinach ravioli and homemade tiramisu? Favorites include the stuffed shells and ravioli (including toasted), muffuletta, and meat-and-three plate lunches. Memphis-style hot tamales and the three-way tamales plate. They offer bottled beer but bring your own wine—no corkage fee. Hopefully they bring back breakfast soon!

This family-owned Italian gem has been a local favorite for years. It’s not trendy or flashy—just a cozy, old-school eatery with a welcoming vibe. We kicked things off with ravioli and mozzarella sticks, both classic and satisfying. If you’re visiting on a Thursday, be prepared for a crowd—their all-you-can-eat spaghetti deal is a big draw (and they don’t take reservations that day). I went for the spaghetti with meatballs, which felt like a warm, home-cooked meal—simple, comforting, and no-frills. For dessert, we sampled the tiramisu, cannoli, and key lime cake. They were decent but didn’t quite steal the show.
